This study aims to reveal and describe the productive reception the caravan of Adam in nine modern Indonesian poetry, the "Genesis" (Subagio Sastrowardojo), "Adam in Paradise" (Subagio Sastrowardojo), "Who are You" (Sapardi Djoko Damono), "Adam and Eve" (Sapardi Djoko Damono)," Expatriate "(Goenawan Mohamad),"Adam Lost" (Dorothea Rosa Herliany),"Adam" (Motinggo Busye),"Ballad of Prophet Adam" (Taufiq Ismail), and 'To the Prospective Emigrants" (Darmanto Jatman). Nine poems in real are the result of the productive response in seven poets of modern Indonesian literature to the story of Prophet Adam contained in the Old Testament Bible, Alquran, Bible Stories Old Testament, and Qishashul Anbiya (Acts of the Prophet). They reproduce the story of Prophet Adam from these sources processed in such a way that it becomes a new work in the form poetry that has aesthetic values.it is necessary to be aware that the seventh Indonesian literary poet departed from the same story about the Prophet Adam as a reference, but the point of view and they are processed differently. Methods and techniques used are descriptive analytical method and comparison. The study results and findings are distinctive reception between the seven poets who speak of "Adam" that ultimately they still confirm the myth of Adam as the caravan (messenger of God) on earth.. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkapkan dan mendeskripsikan resepsi produktif kekafilahan Nabi Adam dalam sembilan puisi Indonesia modern, yaitu "Genesis" (Subagio Sastrowardojo), "Adam di Firdaus" (Subagio Sastrowardojo), "Siapa Engkau" (Sapardi Djoko Damono), "Adam dan Hawa" (Sapardi Djoko Damono), "Expatriate" (Goenawan Mohamad), "Adam yang Tersesat" (Dorothea Rosa Herliany), "Adam" (Motinggo Busye), "Balada Nabi Adam AS" (Taufiq Ismail), dan "Kepada Calon Emigran" (Darmanto Jatman). Sembilan buah puisi tersebut secara nyata merupakan hasil respon produktif tujuh penyair sastra Indonesia modern terhadap kisah Nabi Adam yang termuat dalam Alkitab Perjanjian Lama, Alquran, Cerita-cerita Alkitab Perjanjian Pama, dan Qishashul Anbiya (Kisah Para Nabi). Mereka mereproduksi kisah Nabi Adam dari sumber-sumber tersebut yang diolah sedemikian rupa sehingga menjadi sebuah karya baru berbentuk puisi yang memiliki nilai-nilai estetis. Perlu disadari bahwa ketujuh penyair sastra Indonesia berangkat dari kisah yang sama tentang Nabi Adam sebagai referensinya, tetapi sudut pandang dan hasil olahan mereka berbeda. Metode dan teknik yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif analitik dan perbandingan. Hasil kajian dan temuan adalah terdapat perbedaan resepsi antara tujuh penyair yang berbicara tentang "Nabi Adam" yang akhirnya mereka tetap mengukuhkan mitos Nabi Adam sebagai kafilah (utusan Tuhan) di bumi.
