Analisis Penerapan Model Pembelajaran POE pada Pembelajaran Fisika Siswa Kelas VII MTs Al – Hidayah

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan model pembelajaran Predict–Observe–Explain (POE) dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar fisika siswa kelas VII MTs Al Hidayah. PTK dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 22 siswa kelas VII pada tahun pelajaran 2025/2026. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa serta tes hasil belajar. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan aktivitas guru dan siswa serta kenaikan nilai rata-rata dari prasiklus (59,5) menjadi 72,5 pada siklus I dan 85,9 pada siklus II. Persentase ketuntasan meningkat dari 45,45% (prasiklus) menjadi 59,09% (siklus I) dan 90,91% (siklus II). Kesimpulannya, penerapan model POE efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar fisika pada materi Gerak dan Gaya. Abstract This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) aimed at analyzing the implementation of the Predict– Observe–Explain (POE) learning model in improving physics learning outcomes of seventh-grade students at MTs Al Hidayah. The CAR was conducted in two cycles, consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 22 seventh-grade students in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected using teacher and student activity observation sheets and learning achievement tests. The results showed an increase in teacher and student activities, as well as an improvement in the average score from the pre-cycle (59.5) to 72.5 in cycle I and 85.9 in cycle II. The percentage of learning mastery increased from 45.45% (pre-cycle) to 59.09% (cycle I) and 90.91% (cycle II). In conclusion, the implementation of the POE learning model is effective in improving physics learning outcomes on the topic of Motion and Force.
