Abstract

Textbooks are very important in the learning process because they can support and strengthen the information of teaching materials delivered by teachers. Textbooks help students understand the concepts of science to achieve the desired competencies so that they are easy to understand which is needed in learning because they can explain various difficult phenomena including abstract concepts to become realistic knowledge to make students motivated to learn. Textbooks are very effectively used as a learning medium because they function as a tool for accurate information communication from teachers to students. Using good textbooks will accelerate the achievement of competencies to achieve the role of a good teacher, objective, and relevant truths. The purpose of this community service activity (CSA) is to increase the competence of Islamic boarding school teachers through assistance in making creative and innovative digital textbooks based on multimedia with Flip PDF. To achieve this goal, training activities (workshops), discussion activities for needs and assistance as well as the benefits of making creative and innovative digital textbooks in supporting learning activities are carried out. The material presented during the CSA activity received a good and positive response from the participants of the mentoring activity and stated that the mentoring activities that had been carried out needed to be continued in the future. For the next km implementation, we propose assistance in the implementation of e-Learning.

Abstract

China contributed 27% of global greenhouse gas emissions in 2021. Specifically, the CO2 produced by China contributed 30% of global emissions and made China the largest CO2 emitting country in the world. CO2 emissions produced in the energy sector in 2019 were quite large, namely around 10.62 GtCO2. With China's participation in the Paris Agreement, there is hope for all stakeholders in the success of mitigating world climate change. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach to analyze China's commitment to reducing CO2 emissions in the energy sector based on the Paris Agreement. This research uses literature study techniques with data condensation, data reduction and data triangulation methods. The conclusion is drawn using the concept of international regime and compliance theory. The results of this research found that China's CO2 emissions in the energy sector continued to increase during the 2016-2020 period. This is because coal-fired electricity generation in China increased by 1.7% or 77 terawatt-hours in 2020. In addition, there was an increase in China's thermal power by 18% from 2016-2020. However, there is also China's success in increasing the percentage of renewable energy capacity from only 13% in 2016 to 15.9% in 2020. This meets the target of China's 13th Five Year Plan which targets an increase of 15% in 2020.

Abstract

Abstrak - Penelitian ini tentang pembuatan aplikasi Virtual Tour pada Museum Negeri Banten, permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana membuat sebuah aplikasi menarik yang dapat digunakan di sebuah Museum agar dapat memberikan sensasi baru ketika berkunjung ke Museum. Pengembangan aplikasi menggunakan metode Luther-Sutopo yaitu Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) yang terdiri dari 6 tahapan antara lain concept, desain, material collecting, assemmbly, testing, dan distribution. Dalam proses perancangannya, dilakukan kombinasi antara gambar panorama 360° dengan gambar, teks dan musik sehingga pengguna dapat melihat informasi visual secara mudah. Tahap pembuatan aplikasi dengan Tourweaver, Coreldraw dan Photoshop sedangkan untuk pengujian aplikasi dilakukan menggunakan blackbox system. Abstract

The general background infrastructure development is fundamental for enhancing the quality of life and economic prospects in rural communities. Specific background in Indonesia, institutions such as Lembaga Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Desa (LPMD) are pivotal in facilitating this process. Knowledge gap despite their critical role, there is a scarcity of research addressing the specific contributions of LPMD to infrastructure projects at the village level. Aims This study aims to bridge this knowledge gap by investigating the involvement of LPMD in the planning, implementation, and supervision of infrastructure development within a village context. The Results Utilizing a descriptive qualitative approach, the results indicate that LPMD actively engages in project implementation, proposes community-based programs, and oversees project execution to ensure accountability and transparency. Novelty This research contributes novel insights into the diverse roles played by LPMD, showcasing both active and passive participation in infrastructure initiatives. The implications highlight the necessity for local governments to recognize and strengthen the involvement of LPMD in development processes, ensuring that community perspectives are effectively integrated into planning and execution, which may lead to more sustainable and impactful infrastructure development in rural settings. Highlights: LPMD plays a crucial role in infrastructure planning and implementation. The study highlights both active and passive participation of LPMD. Abstract

Facies classification is the process of identifying rock lithology based on indirect measurements such as well log measurements. The facies classification process is done manually by experienced geologists, which is time-consuming and inefficient. The application of machine learning in facies classification can improve the effectiveness and efficiency of geophysical interpretation on complex data. The purpose of this research is to study the application of SVM and KNN machine learning algorithms in facies estimation. The algorithm in this study uses the phyton programming language. The results show that the KNN algorithm is better at estimating facies than the SVM algorithm.

Abstract

Energi unconvensional merupakan kunci pembaharuan target eksplorasi dan eksploitasi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan energi dunia. Gasifikasi batubara bawah permukaan ata underground coal gasification merupakan salah satu alternatif solusi terhadap persoalan tersebut. Gasifikasi batubara akan menghasilkan syngas yang dapat dikonversi menjadi minyak dan/atau gas alam sintesis. Teknologi ini pada prinsipnya melakukan gasifikasi lapisan batubara secara insitu pada kedalaman lebih dari 150 meter. Hal ini dilakukan karena keberadaan batubara di kedalaman lebih dari 150 secara keekonomian tidak menguntungkan untuk ditambang secara konvensional. Cekungan Sumatera Selatan merupakan salah satu cekungan di Indonesia yang berpotensial akan kandungan batubara, adapun formasi yang mengandung batubara pada cekungan ini adalah Formasi Muara Enim. Formasi ini secara stratigrafi diendapkan secara tidak selaras di atas Formasi Air Benakat, berumur Miosen Atas. Pada umumnya keberadaan batubara pada suatu formasi dikendalikan oleh overburden dan geothermal gradient (2.890 F / 100 feet). Ketebalan lapisan batubara di formasi ini cukup bervariasi tergantung posisi pengendapan dan sejarah tektonik cekungan. Guna mengetahui pola penyebaran dan ketebalan lapisan batubara tersebut perlu digunakan metode yang dalam hal ini adalah Spectral Decomposition. Spectral Decomposition adalah metode atribut seismik yang sering digunakan untuk menganalisis seismik dengan frekuensi domain. Informasi mengenai frekuensi seismik digunakan untuk mendapatkan sebaran litologi di daerah penelitian. Sebaran lapisan batubara yang cukup tipis pada area penelitian (5-10 m) akan terdeteksi pada frekuensi tertentu dalam data seismik. Ada 12 data sumur yang mencapai Seam-F Coal (150 m) dan Seam-D Coal (250 m) yang digunakan sebagai validator untuk sebaran atribut seismik. Pada analisis spektrum amplitudo seismik didapatkan 7,47 meter untuk resolusi vertikal data seismik pada frekuensi 60 Hz dan mencerminkan tampilan lapisan batubara dengan sangat jelas. Metode dekomposisi spektrum dapat mengambarkan mengenai distribusi lapisan batubara dan pengembangan energi unconventional dapat berkembang di daerah ini.

Abstract

Rumusan masalah: Bagaimana efektivitas Pasal 7 UU 16/2019 tentang Perubahan UU 1/1974 tentang Perkawinan terhadap Dispensasi Kawin Tujuan penelitian: Mengetahui efektivitas Pasal 7 UU 16/2019 tentang Perubahan UU 1/1974 tentang Perkawinan terhadap Dispensasi Kawin. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian hukum normatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan perundang-undangan dan pendekatan konseptual. Dengan dokumen-dokumen hukum yang terkumpul akan dilakukan analisis, khususnya deskripsi, penafsiran, dan sistematisasi. UU No. 16 Tahun 2019 tentang Perkawinan perlu direvisi dan ditambahkan dalam hukum keluarga. Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 1974 perlu direvisi agar sesuai dengan kondisi dan permasalahan saat ini, terutama terkait perkawinan siri yang sering dilakukan masyarakat Indonesia tanpa perlu mendaftar ke KUA. Perlu aturan tegas untuk cegah perkawinan siri. Efektivitas penegakan hukum dipengaruhi oleh undang-undang, petunjuk, infrastruktur, kebutuhan masyarakat, dan kebudayaan. Dalam UU No. 16 Tahun 2019, rentang usia perkawinan adalah lulus SMA. Jenjang Perguruan Tinggi (S1) biasanya pada usia 21-22 tahun. Undang-Undang Nomor 16 Tahun 2019 mengatur bahwa usia minimum untuk masuk perguruan tinggi adalah 19 tahun setelah menyelesaikan SMA. Pemalsuan ketentuan usia akan dikenakan sanksi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi pengembangan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) di Pantai Losari, Makassar, sebagai solusi untuk mengurangi ketergantungan pada energi fosil dan meningkatkan ketahanan energi lokal. Dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak HOMER, penelitian ini mensimulasikan berbagai konfigurasi sistem pembangkit listrik on-grid untuk mengevaluasi efisiensi teknis dan ekonomis. Lokasi penelitian memiliki potensi energi terbarukan yang signifikan, dengan rata-rata radiasi matahari 5,87 kWh/m²/hari. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa skenario optimis mampu menghasilkan 386.832 kWh energi per tahun dengan biaya energi Rp408,23/kWh dan Net Present Cost (NPC) Rp1.929.310.277, memberikan potensi keuntungan yang tinggi. Namun, skenario pesimis menunjukkan biaya energi Rp941,45/kWh, yang kurang layak secara ekonomis. Rancangan sistem menggunakan panel surya, baterai, dan konverter dengan total kebutuhan energi harian 276,7 kWh. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa PLTS di Pantai Losari berpotensi menjadi solusi energi berkelanjutan yang efisien dan ekonomis, terutama dalam skenario optimis, serta dapat mendukung upaya pelestarian lingkungan dan pemenuhan kebutuhan energi lokal.

Abstract

Learning the forehand topspin stroke is essential for students in the Physical Education and Health program at Musamus University, Merauke, as it underpins advanced tennis skills and performance. This study identifies challenges faced by students in mastering this technique, including unbalanced body positions, difficulties in selecting proper racket grips, and limited access to facilities and tools. The research employed a quantitative developmental approach, collecting data from 23 student respondents through a questionnaire focusing on body positioning, racket grip, technique understanding, and facility availability. Descriptive statistical analysis revealed that 75% of students struggled with unbalanced body positions, 70% lacked preparation, and 50% faced concentration issues. Furthermore, 60% reported confusion with racket grip selection, while 80% cited inadequate facilities as a major barrier. These findings highlight the need for targeted interventions, such as improved training programs, enhanced resources, and clearer instructional methods, to address these challenges. This research underscores the importance of addressing these obstacles to optimize student learning outcomes in tennis skill acquisition.

Abstract

The modern world requires a wider perspective in life, one of which is about feminism which is a representation of gender equality, more specifically to fight discrimination against women. This study was used to examine one of children's book entitled, "Si Cantik dan Sang Pemberani " by Atikah Solihah with a qualitative descriptive method. The results show that the book describes of patriarchal cultures such as imposing the role of housewives, subordination of women, and depictions of women who are considered irrational, and toxic masculinity. Then the culture was destructed by the fact that the character, Pongota, which is a woman, managed to play two roles at once, between the feminine world (cooking and weaving) to the masculine world (war and self-defense), then met Sangarlang, a man who respects women and is not afraid of his self-esteem being destroyed just because Pongota is that great.
