Digital transformation is driving the manufacturing industry to optimize the use of operational data as a foundation for accurate and responsive decision-making. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of daily operational data utilization in managerial processes at the Mandrel Division of PT Delta Jaya Mas, while also evaluating the challenges faced. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The research findings reveal that operational data has become a vital instrument in production monitoring, quality control, and strategic planning. However, the current hybrid recording system—combining manual forms and the AppSheet digital platform—often leads to inefficiencies such as input errors, data latency, and reliance on manual validation. Variations in human resource competencies and the lack of holistic system integration also impact the consistency of data quality. The study's conclusions confirm that although the Mandrel Division is on the transition path toward Data-Driven Decision Making (DDDM), data quality optimization and digital system integration are essential to improve the accuracy of managerial decisions. These findings contribute to the academic literature on operational management and provide practical recommendations for companies to strengthen data governance. ABSTRAK Transformasi digital mendorong industri manufaktur untuk mengoptimalkan penggunaan data operasional sebagai fondasi pengambilan keputusan yang akurat dan responsif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas pemanfaatan data operasional harian dalam proses manajerial di Divisi Mandrel PT Delta Jaya Mas, sekaligus mengevaluasi tantangan yang dihadapi. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa data operasional telah menjadi instrumen vital dalam pemantauan produksi, pengendalian mutu, dan perencanaan strategis. Namun, sistem pencatatan yang masih bersifat hibrida—memadukan formulir manual dan platform digital AppSheet—kerap memicu inefisiensi berupa kesalahan input, latensi data, dan ketergantungan pada validasi manual. Variasi kompetensi sumber daya manusia dan belum terintegrasinya sistem secara holistik turut memengaruhi konsistensi kualitas data. Simpulan studi ini menegaskan bahwa meskipun Divisi Mandrel telah berada pada jalur transisi menuju Data-Driven Decision Making (DDDM), optimalisasi kualitas data dan integrasi sistem digital mutlak diperlukan untuk meningkatkan akurasi keputusan manajerial. Temuan ini berkontribusi secara akademis dalam memperkaya literatur manajemen operasional dan memberikan rekomendasi praktis bagi perusahaan untuk memperkuat tata kelola data.
