Abstract

This study aims to design and develop an employee attendance system for Lazismu Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik (UMG) based on geolocation as a solution to the limitations of the manual method, which is less efficient, prone to manipulation, and slow in data recapitulation. The system was developed using the Waterfall model, consisting of requirements analysis, system design, program implementation, functional testing, and maintenance stages. Geolocation technology was integrated to validate attendance locations within a specific radius, thereby improving the accuracy of attendance records. Black box testing demonstrated that all functions operated according to requirements, while usability testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) achieved an average score of 87, categorized as excellent. Therefore, the system is considered feasible and effective to support the digitalization of employee attendance management at Lazismu UMG.
