Abstract

The principal's leadership is critical in determining the direction and quality of Islamic primary education institutions. The quality of the principal becomes a key factor influencing teachers and students, where the principal's performance directly impacts the professionalism of the teachers. Based on this phenomenon, this research aims to uncover the role of the Inspirational Motivation of school principals in enhancing the professionalism of teachers. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a multi-case study design. Research data were obtained through interviews and observations of various parties, totaling 20 informants. The research results show that the Inspirational Motivation of the principal in improving teachers' professionalism includes three main aspects: (1) setting an example through actions and achievements to inspire the enhancement of competence; (2) providing appreciation and motivation verbally and in writing through social media and school artifacts; (3) giving awards and encouragement to improve teachers' competence. In conclusion, the inspirational motivation of the principal plays a significant role in enhancing teachers' professionalism through exemplary behavior, appreciation, and rewards.
