ndependence is an important aspect that must be taught to autistic children so that they can live their daily lives more effectively. Teachers have a strategic approach to improve the process of developing this independence, especially in outdoor learning environments such as SKH Negeri 01 Pembina Pandeglang. The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of teachers in helping autistic children developthrough learning approaches, strategies, and teaching methods. The research methodology used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of documentation, observation, and interviews. The results of the study showed that teachers can act as facilitators, motivators, and mentors in individualbased learning. To improve the independence of autistic children, strategies such as life skills training, providing gradual instructions, and positive reinforcement have proven effective.
