<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of using picture media on the ability to construct Indonesian sentences in third-grade students of SD Inpres Palompong, Bajeng Subdistrict, Gowa Regency, in order to improve students' sentence construction skills. The method used in this study is an experimental design with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest approach. The population in this study consisted of 23 third-grade students of SD Inpres Palompong. Data were collected through pretests and posttests to measure sentence construction ability before and after the treatment using picture media.Based on the results of the study, it was shown that there was a significant effect of picture media, as evidenced by the difference between the average pretest and posttest scores. The average pretest score was 51.52, while the average posttest score increased to 86.61. This study indicates that the use of picture media is effective in improving the sentence construction skills of third-grade students at SD Inpres. It is hoped that this research will contribute positively to the development of teaching methods in elementary schools, particularly in the subject of Indonesian Language.]]>
