<![CDATA[Spatial studies are one of the main approaches in geography that focus on analyzing location, distribution, patterns, and interactions of phenomena on the Earth’s surface. This approach is essential for understanding the relationships between natural processes and human activities within a spatial context. This article aims to examine the concept of spatial studies, its fundamental principles, and its application in analyzing geographical phenomena, regional interactions, and spatial planning. The research method used is a literature review by analyzing relevant geography textbooks and scholarly sources. The results of the discussion indicate that spatial studies play a strategic role in understanding the distribution of resources, human activities, regional interactions, and sustainable regional development. Furthermore, the application of spatial studies in geography education contributes to improving students’ spatial thinking, analytical skills, and environmental awareness.
