<![CDATA[Home visit merupakan sebuah program yang berorientasi pada kunjungan rumah  dalam memberikan edukasi pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi pada pemanfaatan buah berserat sebagai self cleansing gigi dengan strategi adalah pendekatan dan dukungan keluarga. Melihat hasil pemeriksaan pada data awal 75% anak di desa Meunasah Baro mengalami karies gigi dan rata-rata nilai debris indek dengan kategori buruk dengan skor 2,5. Data tersebut masih jauh dari harapan karena tidak sesuai dengan ketetapan WHO bahwa status kebersihan gigi dan mulut  skor (OHI-S) < 1,2. Debris adalah salah satu penyebab utama pembentukan karang gigi dan gigi berlubang. Usaha promotif dan preventif sangat perlu diberikan kepada masyarakat. menurunkan angka debris indeks sebagai status kebersihan gigi, meningkatkan pengetahuan keluarga tentang pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut, meningkatkan keterampilan keluarga dalam menyikat gigi yang baik dan benar, meningkatkan kesadaran keluarga pada pemanfaatan buah berserat sebagai self cleansing gigi. Metode Pengabdian dilakukan kegiatan home visit dilakukan 3 kali kunjungan. Memberikan edukasi kesehatan gigi tentang pemanfaatan buah berserat sebagai self cleansing gigi dan cara pengunyah yang benar. Menjelaskan dan mendemontrasikan teknik menyikat gigi yang baik dan benar. nilai. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat diperoleh hasil bahwa terjadi penurunan nilai Debris Indek dari kriteria buruk 31 orang (51%) menjadi kategori baik yaitu 52 orang (87%). Peningkatan pengetahuan dan perilaku orang tua dan anak mengenai pemeliharaan kebersihan gigi dan mulut dengan membiasakan mengkonsumsi buah dengan mengunyah buah yang baik dan benar sehingga dapat membantu self cleansing gigi pada masyarakat desa Meunasah Baro Kabupaten Aceh Besar.Kata kunci : Home Visit, Self Cleansing, Debris IndekHome visit is a program that is oriented towards home visits in providing dental health maintenance education on the use of fibrous fruit as self-cleansing teeth with a strategy of family approach and support.
