Abstract

The digital transformation era requires Islamic Early Childhood Education (PAUD Islam) institutions to adopt clear, adaptive, and spiritually grounded leadership. Visionary leadership serves as a key factor in integrating classical Islamic values with curriculum innovation, ensuring that Islamic PAUD institutions balance spirituality with 21st-century demands. This article presents a conceptual-analytical study aimed at explaining the relationship between visionary leadership, classical Islamic values (tarbiyah, ta'dib, adab, hikmah, and syura), curriculum innovation, and the quality of Islamic early childhood education. The analysis is based on a literature review of educational leadership theory, strategic management, Islamic educational philosophy, and recent empirical studies (2022–2025). Findings indicate that visionary leadership plays a strategic role as a transformative driver, balancing managerial rationality with Islamic spirituality, guiding policy, empowering teachers, and fostering innovative and reflective institutional culture
