<![CDATA[This study was motivated by the problem of students’ low learning motivation in the Integrated Science and Social Studies (IPAS) subject. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of using YouTube media on students’ learning motivation in the Integrated Science and Social Studies (IPAS) subject among fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 137 Palembang. This research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a posttest-only control group design. The sample consisted of two classes: an experimental class that utilized YouTube video media and a control class that did not use the media. Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The data were analyzed using an independent samples t-test. The results of the hypothesis testing showed that tcalculated > ttable (30.826 > 1.753), leading to the rejection of H?. This indicates that the use of YouTube as a learning medium has a significant effect on increasing students’ learning motivation in the IPAS subject at SD Negeri 137 Palembang.]]>
