Leadership in the education sector plays a crucial role in determining the quality of educational institution management, including accountability for archives. One common problem is poor archives management, which results in low levels of institutional transparency and accountability. The purpose of this article is to analyze the contribution of educational leadership to developing an accountable archiving system. The approach used is a literature review, examining books on educational leadership and scientific studies related to transformational leadership and women. The findings of this study indicate that leadership with a clear vision, transformational nature, and values-based leadership can foster the creation of an organized, transparent, and sustainable archiving system. Therefore, the synergy between educational leadership and archiving accountability is crucial for achieving quality educational governance.
