Abstract

A survey in the agribusiness of dairy goat smallholder had been conducted in Kaligesing district of Purworejo region at 13 rd September up to 7th November 2001. The survey studied the factors effecting the milk yield, in how the factors influence economically. Forty eight respondents (dairy goat smallholders) were used in this study and interview method was applied for collecting data. The variables were observed; lactation goat, man power, garage, and concentrate ration. Cobb-Douglass method was applied for analyzing the data. To know the economic efficiency of the agribusiness was approached by the ratio between the Marginal Product Value an input cost. From the data analysis it could be in formatted that the numbers of lactating goat and the numbers of lactating goat and the numbers of concentrate were significant influence on the milk yield, white the man power and the forage were not significant influence. For the numbers of lactating goat and concentrate, economically the efficiency was not yet reached, so the use of the factors were ought to be increased up to an appoint limited. On the other hand the man power and forage was not efficient, so the use of the factors need to be descreased. Abstract

This research is intended to describe the evaluation of life skills-based educational programs in MTs and MA Modern al-Azhary. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of case study research. Through program evaluation, the results of the study indicate that there are four problems in education programs based on life skills. First, the problem of preparing education plans based on life skills. Second, problems in organizing education based on life skills. Third, problems in implementing life skills-based education. Fourth, problems in the supervision of education based on life skills. These four problems are caused by various factors, namely: the factor of human resources which is minimal in managerial ability, the factor of limited facilities and infrastructure, as well as the factors that have not been made to improve the education program sustainably based on life skills both by the management and the teachers and administrators of the foundation. Based on the problem and the cause of the problem then efforts are made to improve, including strengthening the managerial competence of the madrasah head and his deputy, strengthening the pedagogical and professional competence of teachers, procuring facilities and infrastructure based on the priority scale, as well as following up on supervision results. Life skills-based education programs in MTs and MA Modern al-Azhary have experienced success, that is, each target that has been determined in various activities in the life skills-based education program can be achieved.

Abstract

Penelitian ini difokuskan pada kajian pengelolaan pembiayaan yang mampu meningkatkan kualitas perguruan tinggi agama Islam negeri. Penelitian ini dilakukan di UIN Saizu Purwokerto. Peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang akan menganalisis fakta secara berurutan pada obyek sebenarnya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui instrumen penelitian dengan wawancara dengan informan sebagai sumber data, buku, dan dokumen sekunder. Dalam hasil penelitian ini, pendidikan dapat menjadi salah satu sumber pendapatan yang menjadi faktor pendukung dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan karena hasil pengelolaan pembiayaan yang baik secara transparan menghasilkan pendidikan yang baik dan mampu menjadi contoh bagi setiap perguruan tinggi keagamaan Islam lainnya. This research is focused on the study of financing management that can improve the quality of state Islamic higher education institutions. This research was conducted at UIN Saizu Purwokerto. The researcher uses a qualitative descriptive method which will analyze the facts sequentially on the actual object. Data was collected through research instruments with interviews with informants as sources of data, books, and secondary documents. In the results of this study, education can be a source of income that is a supporting factor in improving the quality of education because the results of good financing management transparently produce good education and are able to be an example for every other Islamic religious college.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out if there is an increase in communication and collaboration skills in learning using the STEAM approach based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) for fifth grade elementary school students. The method used is field research with a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that learning using the STEM-based project-based learning approach can improve students' soft skills, especially in the communication and collaboration skills of fifth grade elementary school students. STEAM is a new knowledge that is rarely used by teachers in learning. PjBL-based STEAM can develop students' communication and collaboration skills to adapt to 21st Century developments. MIM Patikraja, Patikraja District, Banyumas Regency is one of the madrasas that implements PjBL-based STEAM learning in teaching and learning activities that have a positive impact. Among them, in addition to learning to be creative and fun, MIM Patikraja students and teachers often make achievements in various fields of competition. Because students and teachers are used to establishing good communication and collaboration. In addition, STEAM teaches students and teachers to be literate in technology so as to facilitate the learning process

Abstract

This research was intended to describe the actualization of moral values in Sun Ngawiti's poem on the leadership of the Kiai Achmad Sa'dulloh Majdi at the Al-Ittihad Banyumas Foundation. This research used qualitative research and used interview, observation and documentation techniques as collecting the data. The data were analyzed using the data analysis technique model of Miles and Huberman. The result showed that there were three moral values actualized in Sun Ngawiti's poem in the leadership of Kiai Achmad Sa'dulloh Majdi, namely discipline, patience and perseverance. The actualization of these three education moral values has made Sun Ngawiti's poem in the leadership of Kiai Achmad Sa'dulloh Majdi as a person who can prove the harmony between written, oral and deeds. Through the discipline, patience and perseverance, the Kiai Achmad Sa'dulloh Majdi has also succeeded in developing various madrasas under the auspices of the al-Ittihad foundation. Abstract

Abstract: This community service was carried out with the aim of improving the culture of literacy in the university environment, especially at the State Islamic University of Prof. K.H. Saifuddin Zuhri (UIN SAIZU). The low productivity of students' scientific work is the background to the importance of this activity, with the aim that students have good motivation and literacy culture. The method used in this activity is training and mentoring, which is carried out in stages from socialization, author planning, technical training, manuscript preparation, to the publishing process. The results of this activity showed a significant increase in the literacy motivation of students who participated in the activity. In addition, this activity succeeded in producing 12 academic books published by publishers and officially registered at the National Library. This activity proves that through an intensive and systematic mentoring process, students are able to produce scientific works that contribute to strengthening the culture of literacy in universities. Abstrak : Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan budaya literasi di lingkungan perguruan tinggi, khususnya di Universitas Islam Negeri Prof. K.H. Saifuddin Zuhri (UIN SAIZU). Rendahnya produktivitas karya ilmiah mahasiswa menjadi latar belakang pentingnya kegiatan ini, dengan tujuan agar mahasiswa memiliki motivasi dan budaya literasi yang baik. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan, yang dilakukan secara bertahap dari sosialisasi, perencanaan penulis, pelatihan teknis, penyusunan naskah, hingga proses penerbitan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam motivasi lietrasi mahasiswa yang menjadi peserta kegiatan. Selain itu, kegiatan ini berhasil menghasilkan 12 buku akademik yang diterbitkan oleh penerbit dan terdaftar secara resmi di Perpustakaan Nasional. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa melalui proses pendampingan yang intensif dan sistematis, mahasiswa mamp menghasilkan karya ilmiah yang berkontribusi dalam penguatan budaya literasi di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

School principal leadership constitutes a critical determinant of educational quality, yet comprehensive understanding of effective leadership approaches in contemporary contexts remains limited. This literature review examined school principal leadership from a sociology of education perspective, synthesizing 44 international scholarly sources published between 2019 and 2025. The review employed narrative-descriptive methodology, systematically analyzing leadership conceptualizations, effective styles, contemporary challenges, and implications for educational quality. Findings revealed that 40.9% of contemporary literature conceptualizes principals as multidimensional leaders integrating instructional, managerial, and social roles. Four leadership styles demonstrated differential yet complementary effects: transformational leadership enhanced teacher motivation (85% of studies) and innovation culture (82%); instructional leadership directly improved teaching quality (91%) and curriculum implementation (88%); democratic leadership generated exceptional teacher participation (94%) and organizational trust (87%); while spiritual leadership strengthened ethical climate (89%) and character development (84%). School culture development emerged as the primary mediating mechanism (70.5% of studies) through which leadership influences educational outcomes. Contemporary principals face intensified challenges including digital transformation (77.3%), teacher resistance (63.6%), and administrative burden (59.1%), with significant contextual variations based on resource availability. The findings establish leadership as socially embedded institutional work requiring cultural diagnostic capabilities alongside technical competence. This study advances sociology of education by theorizing principals as cultural producers who shape organizational values mediating educational quality improvements.

Abstract

This study is motivated by contemporary challenges in adaptive and context responsive Islamic Education. This research aims to analyze and compare the educational philosophies of John Dewey and Ibn Khaldun as a basis for developing such a model. Although John Dewey and Ibn Khaldun both emphasize that knowledge must have practical implications and be based on real experiences, research linking their ideas in the context of contemporary Islamic education reform remains limited. Therefore, a comparative analysis is needed to provide a conceptual basis for the renewal of Islamic education in the modern era. This study uses a qualitative approach with a comparative study of the two figures and relevant academic literature. The results of the analysis show that Dewey and Ibn Khaldun have major conceptual similarities, both criticize purely theoretical education and emphasize experiential and practice-based learning as the foundation of meaningful education. Dewey viewed education as a means of continuous social reconstruction as well as a way to shape democratic citizens. Meanwhile, Ibn Khaldun sees education as the foundation for moral formation, social welfare, and the advancement of civilization. The fundamental difference between the two lies in their philosophical foundations. Dewey's thinking is built on secular rationalism and democratic values, while Ibn Khaldun's ideas stem from Islamic moral and spiritual values. The integration of their two schools of thought provides a new framework for the development of an Islamic education paradigm that is pragmatic, contextual, and oriented towards social change. This research also enriches the discourse on Islamic education by connecting the ethical-spiritual dimensions and the practical needs of today's society.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This research aims to analyze the urgency and strategies for developing creativity in basic education in Indonesia, especially in elementary schools, as the foundation for the formation of human resources that are adaptive, innovative, and ready to face the challenges of 21st century education. Methodology: This study used a standard printed questionnaire without a brand, manual observation sheets, and photo documentation using an Android phone camera (Samsung Galaxy A series). The methods applied include descriptive qualitative approaches, thematic analysis, literature studies, student surveys, and teacher reflection. The software used is Microsoft Word 2019 and Mendeley Desktop. Main Findings: The development of creativity in elementary schools has been shown to increase students' learning motivation by 41% and ecological awareness by 24%. Project-Based Learning and the Learning Cycle approach are effective in encouraging creative thinking across subjects. The role of teachers as creative role models is a key factor in creating a safe, participatory, and classroom climate oriented towards the originality of ideas and contextual problem solving. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this research lies in the integration of the 4P framework of creativity with empirical data on student voices and teacher reflections in rural elementary schools. This study shows that environment-based contextual creativity and PjBL not only increase learning motivation, but also ecological awareness. These findings broaden the understanding of creativity development as an adaptive strategy for primary education in the VUCA era.
