The role of teachers' artistic abilities is important to be carried out professionally. Artistic abilities as a form of teacher hard skills will be an example for children in understanding coloring techniques correctly. The purpose of this study is to describe the role of teachers' artistic abilities, learning strategies, and the achievements of children's artistic development at RA Qurrota A'Yuna Kepanjen-Malang. The research methodology used is qualitative-descriptive with phenomenology about the artistic abilities of children who have succeeded in participating in competitions at the Malang Regency level. Data collection techniques used are observation data, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research and discussion that are realized in terms of the role of teachers' artistic abilities greatly influence children's artistic abilities in creating creative ideas that will support children's imaginative abilities during the process of applying drawing patterns. Therefore, the institution provides additional learning programs in the field of art exploration through coloring activities. The learning strategies used are about balance, the form of movement in arranging drawing patterns, the rhythm of the story pattern of the picture to be colored, the unity of color and image in harmony, and the contrast between coloring concepts that are determined based on the suitability of the drawing needs. Thus, children's coloring activities really require patience, full concentration, and learning motivation in carrying out non-academic activities. The goal of coloring is to create harmonious shapes, tell a story, and create clear color patterns. This lesson is perfect for children exploring their early childhood artistic abilities.
