Orphans residing in orphanage institutions frequently encounter multifaceted psychological challenges, including diminished self-concept, limited social support networks, and reduced academic motivation stemming from parental loss. This study was designed to examine the role of guidance and counseling services in fostering learning intelligence among orphans at the Al-Jam'iyatul Washliyah Orphanage in Medan. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were gathered through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving three orphanage residents and two counselors or institutional caregivers. The findings reveal three synergistically implemented intervention strategies: (1) individual counseling grounded in a client-centered approach, aimed at strengthening personal resilience and cultivating a positive self-concept; (2) group guidance through peer group counseling and peer tutoring, which fosters a cooperative learning environment among participants; and (3) internalization of Al-Washliyah's spiritual values, which nurtures intrinsic motivation rooted in a sense of religious devotion. All three strategies consistently demonstrated effectiveness in reinforcing key indicators of learning intelligence, encompassing time discipline, metacognitive skills, and achievement orientation. The study concludes that the integrated implementation of guidance and counseling services holds considerable potential to transform orphanages into holistic educational ecosystems that support the development of learning intelligence among orphaned children. ABSTRAK Anak yatim yang tinggal di panti asuhan kerap menghadapi berbagai persoalan psikologis, di antaranya rendahnya kepercayaan diri, minimnya dukungan sosial, serta melemahnya semangat belajar sebagai dampak dari kehilangan orang tua. Penelitian ini dirancang untuk mengkaji bagaimana layanan bimbingan dan konseling berperan dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan belajar anak yatim di Panti Asuhan Al-Jam'iyatul Washliyah Medan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dihimpun melalui observasi partisipan, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap tiga anak panti asuhan dan dua konselor atau pengurus panti. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan tiga strategi intervensi yang diterapkan secara sinergis, yakni: (1) konseling individual berbasis pendekatan client-centered yang bertujuan membangun ketangguhan diri dan citra diri yang positif; (2) bimbingan kelompok melalui peer group counseling dan peer tutoring yang mendorong terbentuknya iklim belajar kooperatif; serta (3) internalisasi nilai-nilai spiritual Al-Washliyah yang menumbuhkan motivasi intrinsik berlandaskan semangat ibadah. Ketiga strategi tersebut secara konsisten terbukti memperkuat indikator kecerdasan belajar, meliputi kedisiplinan waktu, kemampuan metakognitif, dan orientasi terhadap prestasi. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan layanan bimbingan dan konseling secara terpadu mampu mentransformasi panti asuhan menjadi ekosistem pendidikan yang holistik bagi perkembangan kecerdasan belajar anak yatim.
