<![CDATA[Globalization has encouraged the emergence of transnational Islamic movements that influence the development of Islamic thought and legal practices in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the forms, roles, and impacts of transnational Islamic movements in shaping Islamic law within a pluralistic and moderately characterized society. The research employs a qualitative method with normative and sociological approaches through library studies. The findings indicate that transnational movements manifest in various forms, such as religious organizations, educational networks, and digital media, playing a role in shaping public religious thought and practice. Their impact is dual in nature, as they can strengthen religious awareness and the development of sharia institutions, but may also generate tension with local values. Therefore, a comprehensive understanding is necessary to balance global Islamic teachings with local contexts.]]>
