This study aims to analyze the effect of the non-physical work environment on employee performance through work motivation as a mediating variable at the Marine and Fisheries Service Office of Jambi Province. The research employed a quantitative approach using questionnaire-based data collection from employees. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares to examine the relationships among variables. The results indicate that the non-physical work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and work motivation. Furthermore, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The findings also reveal that work motivation mediates the relationship between the non-physical work environment and employee performance. Therefore, improving a supportive non-physical work environment can enhance employee motivation and ultimately improve performance within the organization.
