Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon mahasiswa dan efektivitas implementasi alat ukur kemagnetan berbasis mikrokontroler Arduino Uno dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains pada mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Fisika. Media pembelajaran ini dirancang sebagai alat interaktif yang mendukung pendekatan saintifik, membantu mahasiswa memahami konsep kemagnetan secara aplikatif, serta mengasah kemampuan analisis dan pemecahan masalah. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester 4 yang mengambil mata kuliah Listrik Magnet. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes literasi sains, angket respon mahasiswa, dan observasi selama proses pembelajaran. Hasil analisis menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan literasi sains mahasiswa setelah penggunaan alat ukur kemagnetan. Respon mahasiswa juga menunjukkan bahwa media ini menarik, mudah digunakan, dan efektif dalam menjelaskan konsep kemagnetan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa alat ukur kemagnetan berbasis Arduino Uno berpotensi menjadi inovasi media pembelajaran saintifik yang efektif untuk meningkatkan literasi sains mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika.This study aims to determine the response of students and the effectiveness of the implementation of the Arduino Uno microcontroller-based magnetism measuring instrument in improving science literacy skills in students of the Physics Education study program. This learning media is designed as an interactive tool that supports a scientific approach, helps students understand the concept of magnetism applicatively, and hones their analytical and problem-solving skills. The research uses an experimental method with a pretest-posttest design. The subject of the study is a 4th semester student who takes the Magnet Electricity course. Data was collected through science literacy tests, student response questionnaires, and observations during the learning process. The results of the analysis showed a significant improvement in students' science literacy skills after the use of magnetic measuring instruments. The students' responses also showed that this media was interesting, easy to use, and effective in explaining the concept of magnetism. The results of this study show that the Arduino Uno-based magnetism measuring device has the potential to be an effective scientific learning media innovation to improve the science literacy of Physics Education students.
