PENDAMPINGAN PETANI DALAM OPTIMALISASI DOSIS PUPUK HAYATI OPTIMA SOLUTION PT PUSRI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PRODUKTIVITAS JAGUNG MANIS DI DEMONSTRASI PLOT

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengabdian ini bertujuan mengoptimalkan dosis Pupuk Hayati Optima Solution pada budidaya jagung manis di Desa Sungai Dua, Banyuasin, melalui pendampingan partisipatif berbasis andragogi. Kegiatan melibatkan 25 petani mitra Kelompok Tani Selat Kandis 2 dengan pendekatan teori 20% dan praktik 80% melalui tiga tahapan: persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil menunjukkan dosis 5 L/ha (O-5) memberikan produktivitas tertinggi 16,6 ton/ha, meningkat 25,8% dibanding kontrol (13,2 ton/ha), sedangkan dosis 7 L/ha menurunkan produksi menjadi 11,8 ton/ha akibat ketidakseimbangan hara. Capaian pemberdayaan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan petani sebesar 62,5% serta keterampilan mandiri dalam aplikasi pupuk hayati. Dampak ekonomi meningkatkan pendapatan bersih 31,8% (dari Rp52.280.000 menjadi Rp68.920.000/ha) dengan R/C Ratio meningkat dari 4,81 menjadi 5,89, serta menekan biaya pupuk anorganik hingga 30-50%. Program ini juga memperkuat kelembagaan kelompok tani dan mendorong pertanian berkelanjutan melalui kemitraan strategis dengan PT Pusri, pemerintah daerah, dan offtaker.Abstract: Sweet corn farmers in Sungai Dua Village face low productivity due to declining soil fertility, heavy reliance on inorganic fertilizers, and caterpillar infestations. Knowledge of optimizing the dosage of PT PUSRI's Optima Solution biofertilizer remains very limited. Educating and assisting farmers in applying Optima Solution biofertilizer with the right dosage for cost efficiency, increased productivity, and sustainable farm income. Participatory assistance in the Demonstration Plot (Demplot) includes training and practice of tiered dose application (3, 5, 7 L/ha) for 5 partner farmers. Evaluation was conducted through pre-test, post-test, and harvest productivity measurement. The training increased farmers' knowledge from 35.7% to 85.2%. The application of a dose of 5 L/ha increased sweet corn productivity by 25.8% (from 13.2 tons/ha to 16.6 tons/ha), and increased farmers' income from IDR 66 million to IDR 83 million per hectare per planting season. biofertilizer; optima solution; sweet corn; farmer assistance; productivity.
