<![CDATA[This study aims to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in IPAS subjects through the implementation of the question and answer method. The background of this study is the low cognitive learning outcomes of students caused by their lack of participation in the learning process. This research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were fifth-grade elementary school students. Data collection techniques included learning outcome tests, observations, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the question and answer method was able to improve students' cognitive learning outcomes. This is indicated by the increase in the average scores and the percentage of students' learning completeness from the pre-cycle to cycle I and cycle II. In addition, students' participation in the learning process also increased. Therefore, it can be concluded that the question and answer method is effective in improving students' cognitive learning outcomes in IPAS subjects for fifth-grade students.]]>
