This study aims to analyze the important role of parents in shaping children's language habits from an early age. Language is the primary means of communication and an important foundation for children's cognitive and social development. The family, especially parents, is the first and most influential environment for children in acquiring language skills. This study used a literature review method by reviewing various reliable sources such as journal articles, books, and other related research. The results show that verbal interactions between parents and children, such as reading books, storytelling, and everyday conversations, have a significant impact on children's language development. Furthermore, this study also highlights the importance of parents as good language models and creating an environment that supports and stimulates children's language skills. The implication of this study is the need to increase parents' awareness and understanding of the importance of their role in shaping children's language habits from an early age, so that children can grow and develop with optimal language skills.
