Implementasi Filosofi Pendidikan Ki Hadjar Dewantara dalam Pembelajaran PPKn untuk Penguatan Karakter Siswa

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the implementation of Ki Hadjar Dewantara's educational philosophy in Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) learning to strengthen students' character. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a library study approach through the analysis of various relevant literature such as books, journal articles, and educational documents. The results of the study indicate that Ki Hadjar Dewantara's philosophy has strong relevance in PPKn learning through the concept of ing ngarso sung tulodo, ing madya mangun karsa, tut wuri handayani which repositions the role of teachers as role models, facilitators, and motivators of learning. In addition, the concept of Tri Pusat Pendidikan emphasizes the importance of synergy between families, schools, and communities in shaping students' character. PPKn learning based on this philosophy is able to create a more humanistic, contextual, and meaningful learning process. However, its implementation still faces challenges in the form of the dominance of cognitive learning and the negative influence of the digital era. In conclusion, the integration of Ki Hadjar Dewantara's philosophy in PPKn is very important to strengthen students' character holistically and sustainably.Keywords: Ki Hadjar Dewantara, PPKn, Character Education, Three Centers of Education, Humanistic LearningAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi filosofi pendidikan Ki Hadjar Dewantara dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) untuk penguatan karakter siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan melalui analisis berbagai literatur relevan seperti buku, artikel jurnal, dan dokumen pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa filosofi Ki Hadjar Dewantara memiliki relevansi kuat dalam pembelajaran PPKn melalui konsep ing ngarso sung tulodo, ing madya mangun karsa, tut wuri handayani yang mereposisi peran guru sebagai teladan, fasilitator, dan motivator pembelajaran. Selain itu, konsep Tri Pusat Pendidikan menegaskan pentingnya sinergi antara keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat dalam pembentukan karakter siswa. Pembelajaran PPKn berbasis filosofi ini mampu menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang lebih humanis, kontekstual, dan bermakna. Namun, implementasinya masih menghadapi tantangan berupa dominasi pembelajaran kognitif dan pengaruh negatif era digital. Kesimpulannya, integrasi filosofi Ki Hadjar Dewantara dalam PPKn sangat penting untuk memperkuat karakter siswa secara holistik dan berkelanjutan.Kata Kunci: Ki Hadjar Dewantara, PPKn, Pendidikan Karakter, Tri Pusat Pendidikan, Pembelajaran Humanis
