<![CDATA[Regional languages, including Sundanese, are important to maintain because they can maintain the nation's cultural roots and national identity. However, in the current situation, the use of regional languages in the early childhood learning process is increasingly marginalized. Many children prefer to use national languages or foreign languages in communicating, so the use of regional languages is increasingly rare. The following research was conducted with the aim of optimizing regional language skills for children aged 4-5 years at Pembina Baros State Kindergarten, Sukabumi City. This research utilizes the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method by developing the Si-UUL (Listen-Say-Repeat) method through word cards, the participants in this study were 31 students of class A1 at Pembina Baros State Kindergarten in Baros District, Sukabumi City aged 4-5 years, consisting of 15 girls and 16 boys. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Furthermore, data analysis techniques were carried out using descriptive qualitative methods. The results of the study indicate that the Si-UUL method is effective in improving regional language skills for children aged 4-5 years.
