<![CDATA[Addressing contemporary challenges—particularly issues regarding character that are widely discussed in schools, society, and even the political sphere—requires solutions suited to the current context. This study examines Kiai Ihsan Jampes’s concept of Ma’rifatullah (knowledge of God) and its relevance as an approach to moral transformation in the modern era. The eras of globalization and modernization have posed significant challenges to the cultivation of akhlaq al-karimah (noble character), characterized by systematic moral degradation, the weakening of family institutions, and a spiritual crisis. Employing a qualitative research method with a content analysis approach applied to the work Siraj al-Thalibin, this study aims to analyze Kiai Ihsan Jampes’s concept of *Ma’rifatullah* and assess its relevance in fostering noble character in the modern age. The findings indicate that Kiai Ihsan Jampes’s concept offers a holistic approach that integrates outward and inward dimensions through the processes of tazkiyatun nafs (purification of the soul), the development of spiritual intelligence, and moral transformation. This concept holds significant relevance for addressing contemporary moral issues by providing a robust spiritual foundation for establishing harmony—both vertically with God and horizontally with fellow human beings. The study makes a vital contribution to the development of Sufism and moral studies in the era of globalization and offers practical solutions to address the moral degradation of modern society.]]>
