The abstract nature of chemical concepts and the limitations of conventional, rigid, one-way slide visualizations underlie this research. These operational issues in the field lead to low information retention, persistent misconceptions, and a decline in students' academic learning outcomes to below 60 percent. The primary focus of this scientific study is to analyze the effectiveness of using interactive digital presentation media on escalating understanding of substantive chemical concepts. This descriptive quantitative research using a survey approach was conducted through a five-level Likert-scale questionnaire. Sampling was conducted via purposive sampling technique, reaching 32 students in the Chemistry and Chemistry Education Study Programs at Medan State University. The actual data analysis procedure was executed in a structured manner using percentage score calculations of respondent responses and qualitative descriptions of open-ended questions. Empirical research findings reveal the positive influence of the use of animations, quizzes, and virtual laboratory portals such as PhET Interactive Simulations in stabilizing learning focus, intrinsic motivation, and facilitating the visualization of atomic bonds. Daily technical obstacles include internet network disruptions and excessive use of visualizations that risk increasing cognitive load. The main conclusion confirms that hybrid multimedia instruction has proven reliable in flexibly boosting students' cognitive resilience. ABSTRAK Sifat abstrak dari konsep-konsep kimia serta keterbatasan visualisasi salindia konvensional yang kaku dan searah melatarbelakangi kegiatan penelitian ini. Masalah operasional lapangan tersebut memicu rendahnya retensi informasi, miskonsepsi yang menetap, serta penurunan tingkat ketuntasan hasil belajar akademik mahasiswa di bawah 60 persen. Fokus utama kajian ilmiah ini adalah menganalisis tingkat efektivitas penggunaan media presentasi digital interaktif terhadap eskalasi pemahaman konsep kimia substantif. Langkah-langkah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei ini dijalankan melalui pengisian kuesioner berskala Likert lima tingkat. Penarikan sampel dilakukan via teknik purposive sampling yang menjangkau sejumlah 32 mahasiswa Program Studi Kimia dan Pendidikan Kimia di Universitas Negeri Medan. Prosedur analisis data aktual dieksekusi secara terstruktur memakai perhitungan skor persentase sebaran jawaban responden serta deskripsi kualitatif pertanyaan terbuka. Temuan riset secara empiris menyingkap pengaruh positif penggunaan animasi, kuis, dan portal laboratorium virtual seperti PhET Interactive Simulations dalam menstabilkan fokus belajar, motivasi intrinsik, serta mempermudah visualisasi ikatan atomik. Kendala teknis harian mencakup gangguan jaringan internet serta penggunaan visualisasi berlebih yang berisiko menaikkan cognitive load. Simpulan utama menegaskan bahwa hibridasi instruksional multimedia terbukti andal dalam mendongkrak ketahanan kognitif mahasiswa secara fleksibel.
