<![CDATA[This study examines the professional ethics and moral accountability of Islamic counselors by integrating perspectives from Da’wah science and Fiqh al-Muʿāmalāt. Despite the increasing strategic relevance of Islamic counselors as frontline agents of religious guidance, community empowerment, and conflict prevention, their ethical competence remains uneven, largely due to limited standardization, insufficient training, and the complexity of modern socio-religious challenges. The purpose of this research is to construct a critical framework that explains how professional conduct can be strengthened through a synthesis of normative Islamic jurisprudence and contemporary da’wah ethics. Using a qualitative-descriptive design framed by a phenomenological approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis. The findings reveal that ethical accountability must be grounded in three foundational domains: moral-spiritual integrity, legal-juridical compliance, and professional-functional competence.
