<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the implementation of a multicultural education approach to enhance students’ tolerance in senior high schools and identify the factors that support and inhibit its implementation. This research employs a qualitative approach involving the principal, teachers, and students as participants. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion-drawing techniques. The findings reveal that multicultural education has been implemented through sociology learning, extracurricular activities, and social interactions within the school environment. This implementation significantly improves students’ tolerance, reflected in mutual respect, cooperation, and acceptance of diversity. Supporting factors include inclusive teachers, supportive curricula, school policies, and a socially open environment. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include limited teacher training, insufficient learning media, and inadequate access to technology. This study concludes that multicultural education is an effective strategy for fostering students’ tolerance and character development.]]>
