Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya status gizi, persentase lemak tubuh, dan kebugaran jasmani dalam mendukung performa atlet karate, khususnya daya tahan kardiorespirasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara status gizi dan persentase lemak tubuh dengan kebugaran jasmani atlet karate U2KC Midang Lombok Barat. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan sampel 15 atlet yang diambil melalui total sampling. Status gizi diukur menggunakan IMT/U, persentase lemak tubuh menggunakan body fat caliper, dan kebugaran jasmani menggunakan Multistage Fitness Test untuk memperoleh VO₂ maks. Data dianalisis menggunakan korelasi sederhana dan korelasi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa status gizi tidak berhubungan signifikan dengan VO₂ maks (r = 0,424; p = 0,116), persentase lemak tubuh tidak berhubungan signifikan dengan VO₂ maks (r = -0,277; p = 0,317), dan hubungan simultan juga tidak signifikan (R = 0,505; p = 0,171). Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa kebugaran atlet lebih mungkin dipengaruhi faktor latihan. The Relationship between Nutritional Status and Body Fat Percentage with Physical Fitness among U2KC Karate Athletes in Midang, West Lombok Abstract This study was motivated by the importance of nutritional status, body fat percentage, and physical fitness in supporting karate athletes’ performance, particularly cardiorespiratory endurance. This study aimed to determine the relationship between nutritional status and body fat percentage with physical fitness among U2KC karate athletes in Midang, West Lombok. This research used a quantitative correlational approach with 15 athletes selected through total sampling. Nutritional status was measured using BMI-for-age, body fat percentage using a body fat caliper, and physical fitness using the Multistage Fitness Test to estimate VO₂ max. Data were analyzed using simple and multiple correlation tests. The results showed that nutritional status was not significantly related to VO₂ max (r = 0.424; p = 0.116), body fat percentage was not significantly related to VO₂ max (r = -0.277; p = 0.317), and the simultaneous relationship was also not significant (R = 0.505; p = 0.171). The study concludes that athletes’ fitness may be more influenced by training factors.
