Abstract

Kelompok A mendapat latihan shooting bola jalan, sedangkan Kelompok B mendapat latihan shooting bola diam selama 16 pertemuan. Effects of Moving-Ball and Stationary-Ball Shooting Training on Shooting Accuracy in U 10–14 Football School Players Abstract Shooting accuracy is an essential skill in youth football, yet U 10–14 players at SSB Pendem FC frequently failed to direct the ball toward the target. This study aimed to compare the effects of moving-ball and stationary-ball shooting training on shooting accuracy. A quasi-experimental two-group pretest-posttest design was used. The sample consisted of 20 players divided into two groups using matched-pair allocation based on pretest scores. Group A received moving-ball shooting training, whereas Group B received stationary-ball shooting training for 16 sessions. The research instrument was a shooting accuracy test using a marked goal target with 10 shooting attempts. The paired-sample t-test showed that both training methods significantly improved shooting accuracy. The stationary-ball group had a higher descriptive gain score than the moving-ball group, but the independent-sample t-test showed that the difference was not statistically significant. The study concludes that both methods are effective. Coaches are recommended to combine stationary-ball and moving-ball drills progressively.
