Analisis Pengaruh Debt To Equity Ratio Terhadap Pertumbuhan Laba Pada PT. Gudang Garam Tbk

The purpose of this study is to determine and describe the effect of the debt to equity ratio (DER) on profit growth at PT. Gudang Garam Tbk. for the period 2015-2024. The research method used is quantitative. The type of research used is associative research. This study is explanatory. The sample was taken using a purposive sampling method, consisting of the income statement of PT. Gudang Garam Tbk. for the period 2015-2024. The results indicate that the DER variable has no significant effect on profit growth. This is proven to be significant = 0.149 > 0.05. Therefore, when the DER increases, it has no significant effect on profit growth. The simple regression analysis for this study is Y = -1.176 + 2.415 X. The determination test then yields a correlation value (R) of 0.241 or 24.1%, indicating that the dependent and independent variables are positive. This means that if the DER increases, profit growth will also increase. The coefficient of determination (adjusted R2) can provide an influence of DER on the dependent variable (profit growth) which is indicated by R2, which is 0.146. Keywords: Analysis, Effect, Debt to Equity Ratio, Profit Growth.   Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikanpengaruh rasio debt to equity (DER) terhadap pertumbuhan laba pada PT. Gudang Garam Tbk. Periode 2015-2024. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian asosiatif. Penelitian ini bersifat eksplanatori. Sampel diambil dengan metode purposive sampling berupa laporan laba rugi PT. Gudang Garam Tbk. Selama periode 2015-2024. Hasil tersebut menunjukan bahwa variabel DER tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba. Ini terbukti signifikan = 0.149 > 0.05. Jadi ketika DER naik, itu tidak berpengaruh signifikan pada pertumbuhan laba. Analisis regresi sederhana untuk penelitian ini  Y = -1,176 + 2,415 X. kemudian uji determinasi memberikan nilai korelasi (R) sebesar 0,241 atau 24,1% yang menunjukan bahwa variabel dependen dan variabel independen berkorelasi positif, artinya jika DER meningkat  maka pertumbuhan laba juga akan meningkat. Nilai koefisien determinasi (adjusted R2) dapat memberikan pengaruh DER terhadap variabel dependen (pertumbuhan laba) yang ditunjukan dengan R2 yaitu sebesar 0,146.
