This study aims to analyze affective expressions and emotions in the song lyrics of "Tutur Batin" by Yura Yunita using a psycholinguistic perspective. The research focuses on how language in the lyrics portrays emotional conditions, inner conflicts, and the process of self-acceptance experienced by the lyrical subject. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method with content analysis techniques applied to the song lyrics. The data consist of words, phrases, and sentences containing affective and emotional elements, which are analyzed based on psycholinguistic theories concerning the relationship between language, thought, and emotion. The findings reveal that the lyrics of "Tutur Batin" express various affective states, including fear, disappointment, anxiety, hope, self-acceptance, and emotional calmness. The use of simple yet meaningful diction successfully represents the psychological dynamics of an individual undergoing inner struggles. Furthermore, the psycholinguistic aspect is reflected in the selection of reflective expressions that illustrate the cognitive and emotional processes involved in understanding oneself. This study demonstrates that songs can function as an effective medium of emotional communication while also reflecting the close relationship between language and human psychological conditions.
