<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using visual media in improving the learning comprehension of students with special needs classified as slow learners in elementary schools. The research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method. Data were obtained from various scientific literature sources, including journals, books, and articles relevant to the research topic. The data analysis technique was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the use of visual media such as pictures, videos, diagrams, and concrete teaching aids can help slow learner students understand learning materials more easily and concretely. In addition, visual media can also improve students’ concentration, learning motivation, active participation, and assist them in understanding abstract concepts. However, the effectiveness of visual media is influenced by teachers’ ability to select and apply appropriate media according to the characteristics of students. Therefore, visual media can be considered an effective and adaptive learning strategy for slow learner students in elementary schools.]]>
