Social-emotional development is an essential aspect that needs to be stimulated from an early age because it influences children's ability to interact, cooperate, manage emotions, and adapt to their social environment. One activity that can be used to stimulate social-emotional development is group dance. This study aims to analyze the role of group dance activities in stimulating the social-emotional development of children in kindergarten. The research employed a qualitative approach using a library research design. Data were collected from various scientific sources, including journal articles, books, conference proceedings, and research reports related to early childhood social-emotional development and group dance activities. Data collection was conducted through documentation techniques, while data were analyzed using content analysis. The findings indicate that group dance activities contribute positively to children's social-emotional development by improving cooperation, social interaction, empathy, discipline, responsibility, emotional regulation, and self-confidence. In addition, group dance provides enjoyable learning experiences and encourages children's active participation in social environments. Therefore, group dance can be considered an effective learning strategy to optimize the social-emotional development of young children in kindergarten.
