<![CDATA[This study examines the application of the philosophy of science as a foundation for educational decision-making at SDN 116/VI Pulau Rengas Ulu, Merangin Regency, Jambi. The research aims to describe how ontological, epistemological, and axiological dimensions of the philosophy of science influence the school's decision-making process in the areas of curriculum, learning, and school management. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the principal and teachers, direct observation of school activities, and documentation analysis. The results indicate that the principal and teachers at SDN 116/VI Pulau Rengas Ulu have implicitly applied philosophical thinking in their daily decision-making, although awareness of its epistemological basis remains limited. Decisions tend to rely on practical experience and collegial deliberation rather than on systematic evidence. This study recommends that capacity-building programs be designed to strengthen the epistemological awareness of school leaders and teachers as part of improving the quality of educational governance at the primary school level.]]>
