<![CDATA[The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has had a significant impact on the world of education, especially in the digital learning process (Karimah et al., 2024; Sadrina et al., 2024). However, the implementation of digital learning in Indonesia still faces various challenges that cause low effectiveness of learning in the AI era. This study aims to analyze the factors causing low digital learning in the era of AI technology and provide strategic solutions to improve the quality of digital-based learning. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results showed that low digital learning was influenced by a lack of digital literacy (Izhari et al., 2025; Perdana et al., 2025), limited technological infrastructure, low teacher competence in the use of AI (Hanis & Wahyudin, 2024), and low student motivation in online learning (Fahmi et al., 2025). In addition, the lack of educational policy support and unequal internet access are also major inhibiting factors. This study concludes that increasing the digital competence of educators, providing adequate technological facilities, and developing an AI-based curriculum (Niemi et al., 2023; Nursyahidin, 2023) are important solutions to improve the quality of digital learning in Indonesia.]]>
