<![CDATA[Abstrak Apropriasi merupakan bagian dari kreatifitas yang berkembang pada masa Kontemporer, yaitu sesorang seniman memakai karya yang sudah ada untuk menghasilkan bentuk kreatifitas yang baru. Jukstaposisi Melalui karya lukisan pemandangan Basoeki Abdullah penciptaan karya ini mewakili gagasan yang penulis tekuni dalam melukis hingga saat ini, mengangkat persoalan dua hal yang bertentangan (oposisi biner) dan pensejajaran (juxtaposisi) dua hal yang bertentangan, penciptaan karya ini bertujuan mengetengahkan keindahan dan kekerasan sekaligus dalam sebuah karya. Karya ini representasi dari seorang maestro yang flamboyan, menyukai keindahan dan kematiannya yang tragis di akhir hidupnya dalam penggambaran objek positif dan negatif, baik idiomatik maupun artistiknya. Metode penelitian artistik ini menggunakan pendekatan Practice Base Research, dan tahapan proses penciptaan karya adalah pesiapan, inkubasi, inspirasi, pemunculan dan evaluasi. Proses kreatif kerja studio untuk alih wahana karya lukisan menjadi karya drawing dengan mempertimbangkan harmoni, representasi jukstaposisi melalui aproriasi, mengapresiasi lukisan naturalistik atau pemandangan karya Basoeki Abdulah yang indah sekaligus mensejajarkan dengan senjata sebagai benda idiomatik menjadi sarana ekspresi yang menarik dan memiliki nilai interpretasi bagi penikmatnya. Abstract Appropriation is a form of creativity that has emerged in the contemporary era, in which an artist uses existing works to produce new forms of creativity. Juxtaposition: Through Basoeki Abdullah’s landscape paintings, the creation of this work embodies the ideas the artist has pursued in his painting to this day, addressing the issue of two opposing elements (binary opposition) and the juxtaposition of these opposites. The aim of this work is to highlight both beauty and violence simultaneously within a single piece. This work is a representation of a flamboyant maestro who loved beauty and met a tragic death at the end of his life, depicted through both positive and negative elements both idiomatic and artistic. This artistic research method employs a Practice Based Research approach, and the stages of the creative process include preparation, incubation, inspiration, emergence, and evaluation. The creative studio process involves transforming a painting into a drawing, taking into account harmony and the representation of juxtaposition through appropriation. It involves appreciating the beautiful naturalistic landscapes in Basoeki Abdulah’s paintings while juxtaposing them with weapons as idiomatic objects to create a compelling means of expression that holds interpretive value for the viewer.]]>
