Mental health issues have become an increasingly significant global concern, particularly among the productive-age population. In Bali Province, the high prevalence of mental health disorders is closely associated with the demographic structure of the productive-age population, which accounts for 49.30% and is predominantly composed of Generation Z and Millennials. Among these groups, Generation Z represents the largest demographic cohort and is also the most vulnerable to psychological pressure resulting from social changes, productivity demands, and intense exposure to urban environments. Denpasar City, as a center of economic growth, education, and urbanization, experiences high population density due to migration from rural areas, leading to increased levels of stress, anxiety, and mental health disorders within the urban community. Nevertheless, mental health service facilities are still commonly integrated into general medical healthcare services, which limits their capacity to provide a calming, restorative, and stigma-free healing environment. This study aims to formulate the planning and design of a Generation Z Mental Health Care Center in Denpasar through a Restorative Environment Design approach. The research methods include literature review, precedent studies, field observations, and contextual urban analysis. The Restorative Environment Design approach is implemented through the optimization of multisensory experiences and the integration of natural elements to create a calming environment that supports the psychological recovery of Generation Z.
