Abstract

Perkembangan suatu daerah menjadi kawasan parwisata memberikan pengaruh terhadap, tata ruang, ekonomi, dan kehidupan sosial masyarakat. Hotel adalah salah satu akomodasi wisata yang mememagang peranan penting pada daerah wisata. Ubud terkenal dengan keunikan seni dan budaya yang menyatu dalam kehidupan sehari-hari masyarakatnya. Perkembangan Ubud menjadi daerah tujuan pariwista menyebabkan munculnya akomodasi pariwisata seperti penginapan, restoran, galeri, dan biro perjalanan. Penginapan di kawasan parawista Ubud terbagi mejadi beberapa jenis seperti, homestay, villa, bungalow, dan hotel resort berbintang. Hotel resort merupakan salah satu jenis penginapan yang paling banyak menghabiskan lahan, karena terdapat -fasilitas fasilitas yang ditawarkan. Keberadaan hotel resort berbintang di Kawasan Parawisata Ubud tentu menyumbang pendapatan daerah dan menyediakan lapangan kerja bagi masyarakat sekitar. Selain dampak positif , keberadaan hotel resort juga memberikan dampak negatif, yaitu banyak terdapat ahli fungsi lahan dan kerusakan lingkungan. Peneliti akan melihat secara detail bagaimana pola persebaran hotel resort berbintang di Kawasan Parawisata Ubud dan faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh. Beberapa temuan dalam penelitian ini antara lain, kecendrungan pola persebaran hotel berbintang di Kawasan Pariwisata Ubud berbeda-beda tergantung pada kelasnya, faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh dalam pola persebaran hotel berbintang adalah akses dan potensi pemandangan alam.

Abstract

Homestay within residential homes has become increasingly popular among foreign tourists recently. Due to the high demand for this type of accommodation, homestays and guesthouses have begun to emerge within the homes of local residents around Ubud. Houses that were originally intended solely as residences are now undergoing a functional transformation, adding a role as accommodations for tourists. This has created a complexity in spatial needs within one area, ultimately affecting and blending the spatial values traditionally held by the local community. If this trend continues without efforts to harmonize it with local cultural values and architecture, the cultural identity in the spatial patterns and values of traditional residences could fade. The researcher will examine in detail how space utilization patterns for accommodations within Ubud residences are being managed. Further, factors influencing the placement of spaces for lodging buildings will be explored. The results of the study indicate that most space utilization patterns for homestay buildings within residential homes in the village of Peliatan still apply local architectural styles, although there are some adjustments in construction systems and materials used.

Abstract

A livable settlement is a target within the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), aimed at creating resilient, inclusive, safe, and sustainable cities and communities. The Karya Makmur area in Denpasar is one of the regions facing significant slum settlement issues. This study aims to identify spatial and physical changes in the area over the past 18 years (2006-2023) and uncover the factors driving the development of slum settlements in this region. A qualitative approach was used, combining map overlay analysis (superimposed analysis) with field data validation. Results indicate that Karya Makmur has undergone major transformations in land use patterns, buildings, and circulation, while showing minor changes in settlement characteristics. The densification process driven by urbanization is identified as the primary factor contributing to the rapid growth of slum areas in this region. This research aims to contribute to future efforts in slum area improvement and planning

Abstract

Interior and detail photography is a part of architectural photography which is useful for taking pictures related to a building or room. Interior photography is photographing various forms of the inside of a building. The goal is to focus more on shooting indoors to better show the beauty and uniqueness of the room. Detail photography aims to focus more on taking pictures on certain parts that are considered special. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive method. This study aims to understand and dig deeper into the architectural photography approach. This journal will discuss the concept of photography in terms of interior and detail in the room as well as taking techniques in producing good architectural photography. This research was conducted with qualitative and descriptive methods by analyzing sample images based on the principles of architectural photography.

Abstract

The high number of parents who are busy with their work, especially mothers who are supposed to be educators and caregivers for their children, has led to the need for facilities that can become a place for children so that later they will receive good, efficient and appropriate care and education. can help their growth and development in the future to become better individuals or individuals. Therefore, a facility that can be a solution to this problem is the Children Care Center facility which if it can accommodate all the needs of early childhood by including care services and pre-school education. With the existence of a Children Care Center public facility that involves children as the main actors, an appropriate architectural approach is needed in order to make the Children Care Center a facility that is responsive to all the needs of early childhood as the main users. The Behavioral Architecture approach is the appropriate approach for the Children Care Center facility, because by applying the Behavioral Architecture approach to this facility, it is hoped that the facility can meet the needs of early childhood for what facilities they need by knowing or studying habits, character, behavior, and patterns of early childhood activities.

Abstract

Villages in North Bali have their own uniqueness, including in terms of art and culture. Starting from customs, dances, architecture, to crafts. This situation is actually a problem and we hope that it can help the Village Product Community Center for village development, by providing a facility that accommodates a product community in the village. The handicrafts in the village are processed from natural resources such as bamboo work, woven fabrics, and lontar. Not only handicrafts but also every village has natural resources in the form of coffee, palm sugar, wine, and sap. Which is a livelihood for residents in every village There is a lot of potential that exists in the village but there is no place or place to develop the products produced by a village. With the Village Product Community Center, it can provide education as well as a place to learn by providing facilities that accommodate and also become a place to market products that have been produced. With the Village Product Community Center, it can provide a forum to provide education and learn more about the products produced by the village, it is also an opportunity for the village to develop its potential.

Abstract

The theme is an idea that underlies the design and is translated into the design concept. The theme of a work will give character or impression to the final design, and as much as possible give a message or make the building able to communicate with its environment. Based on the goal to be achieved, which is to provide comfort for design users, especially persons with disabilities, hereby the determination of contextual themes is a classification of contextual areas in architecture related to the environment, surrounding conditions, society, culture. The method presented in planning design proposals is a qualitative analysis method obtained through direct surveys using literature study data and field work with observations and interviews with informants. The results obtained were in the form of data on the number of people with disabilities in Gianyar Regency, data on community interest in dance in Gianyar Regency, and data on the strategic location of design proposals.

Abstract

Poverty and unemployment in Bali, especially in Klungkung Regency, have experienced a significant increase over the past three years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The poverty rate in Bali increased from 3.61% in 2019 to 4.72% in 2021, while the unemployment rate in Klungkung increased from 1.57% in 2019 to 5.37% in 2021, making it the fifth highest region with unemployment in Bali. To address the issue of unemployment and poverty in Klungkung Regency, it is necessary to build facilities that can help develop the creative industry and advance the economy. Therefore, a community creative center called "Klungkung Creative Center" has been designed to function as a center for creativity and creative industry development. This facility will be equipped with rooms and facilities that can be used by the people of Klungkung, such as a business incubation center, creative center, co-working space, and makerspace. The users of this facility are divided into several groups, namely managers, students, creative economy actors, communities, and the general public. Architecture plays a crucial role in creating adequate conditions and infrastructure for the people of Klungkung to enhance their economic potential and creativity. It is expected that with this facility, the people of Klungkung and surrounding areas can improve their skills, knowledge, and creativity while advancing their achievements, economy, and tourism in the region.

Abstract

In Bali, weaving is a traditional craft that has been practiced for a long time. Weaving is now more than just a side job or a way to fill time, but has also developed into a creative industry. The process of interweaving the warp and weft threads is known as weaving. The weft thread attached to the warp thread and attached to the loom, and the warp thread which, when connected, will produce a motif. In this study, three research methods were used: Literature Study, in a method for systematically analyzing data using summarized versions of the data, such as books, journals, or articles, in the classroom. Direct interviews with related parties in the Balinese endek woven fabric industry were used as a data collection method. Precedent studies, surveying observers regarding architectural approaches to planning and designing educational tourism centers for woven fabrics in Klungkung district and indirectly searching for other objects outside Bali via the internet are the methods used to collect data. In the Planning and Design of the Endek Cloth Educational Tourism Center in Klungkung Regency, Bali has the overarching objectives of helping tourism development and providing new innovations in the field of endek woven cloth centers, and being able to provide learning about endek cloth processing. Endek cloth educational tourism centers in the district Klungkung can have a positive impact on the community in the surrounding Klungkung district and help develop tourism.

Abstract

The Creative Industry is an industry that is developing in the 4.0 era where the creative industry has a great opportunity to maintain and restore Bali's economy after being affected by a pandemic, where in the province of Bali, Denpasar has high creative industry potential as indicated by the largest number of businesses in the province of Bali, which has 97,526. business, with this great opportunity it is necessary to have a qualified forum for startups and freelancers who have limited funds in containers and facilities, so with the existence of this creative design center it is hoped that it can prosper the creative design industry and strengthen the Balinese economy, so link it with innovative and creative concept which with the aim of stimulating the creativity of creative design industry players to create innovations in the form of goods and services, combined with its application to the theme of sustainable design where this theme maximizes buildings for sustainability forest in terms of social, economic and environmental aspects, especially on the site and the area around the site.
