Abstract

Dari sekian banyak negara di dunia yang memiliki tingkat kebudayaan yang tinggi, Indonesia termasuk salah satu dari negara-negara tersebut. Banyak peninggalan bersejarah yang terdapat di wilayah Indonesia, salah satunya kebudayaan Cina. Cultural mapping merupakan sebuah pendekatan berbasis masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk mewujudkan pelestarian kawasan. Studi kasus yang diangkat pada cultural mapping kali ini adalah arsitektur Tionghoa di Desa Babagan Lasem. Lasem diangkat karena memiliki sejarah perkembangan salah satu permukiman Cina tertua di Indonesia. Tujuan paper ini adalah untuk mengetahuisejarah perkembangan kawasan Babagan, melakukan pemetaan arsitektur-arsitektur Tionghoa dan memberikan rekomendasi. Dengan pendekatan survey lapangan untuk pengambilan foto dan plot koordinat objek di lapangan dan didukung oleh data sekunder berupa penelusuran referensi-referensi terkait dengan desa Babagan Lasem. Hasil penelitian merekomendasikan ada delapan bangunan yang dapat dimasukkan kedalam pemetaan arsitektur Tionghoa yang ada di Desa Babagan yaitu klenteng Gie Yong Bio, rumah Om King Liang, omah Kim Jong, gedung Hoo Hap, omah Batik Dinar, omah om Jun, omah kerabat Djarum, omah Batik Sekar Kentjana. Dengan mengetahui signifikansi sejarah pembentukan Desa Babagan melalui arsitektur dan tata ruangnya, diharapkan hasilnya dapat digunakan untuk pemetaan yang bermanfaat untuk pemerintah desa, Pokdarwis dan akademisi (mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan).

Abstract

The definition of green materials is building materials that are environmentally friendly, do not have a negative impact on building users, and are sustainable. Green Material is one of the criteria in the green building assessment parameters that will support energy efficiency goals. Understanding green materials and their availability for their demands in Bali is important to align the growth of green buildings in Bali with the potential and problems of material supply. This paper aimed at conducting an initial preliminary study of the limitation and opportunities for the use of sustainable building materials according to the green building principle approach in Bali. The method used is descriptive method that is reinforced by literature review techniques related to the context of the discussion . Buildings in Bali, when viewed from the use of building materials, carry very distinctive design and appearance characteristics. The selection of green materials in Bali will be influenced by the demands of the requirements for implementing Balinese architecture in buildings, restrictions on material procurement due to location, material legality references and ecolabel certification documents and opportunities for using smart and advanced materials without losing the character of Balinese building architecture.

Abstract

Abstract—Bale Sakenem Building is one of the buildings that were in the order of Traditional Bali House. This study identified Bale Sakenem building located in the Central Singapadu Village and that is observational research by using cross sectional design. This research was done by means of retrospective observational that is considered the factor that can affect Bale Sakenem Building Anthropometry. From the data analyze of research identification, 30% height bataran not in accordance with the average size of an ideal height bataran and 20% height bale-bale also not in accordance with the average of the ideal height bale-bale in Bale Sakenem building in the Central Singapadu Gianyar have not yet undertaken anthropometry users and more dominant to follow measurements that based on the size of Undagi, as a consequence there was uncomfortableness. Height bataran and height bale-bale is based on the tolerance of anthropometry using the 95 percentile and 5 percentile for tolerance limitKeywords—Anthropometry, Balinese Architecture, Culture, Percentile, User Comfort.

Abstract

Spatial transformation and building layout of Balinese ethnic dwellings are influenced by the need for residential space and the occupants of the house. The increase in the number of family members in one dwelling impacts increasing the space for living. The development of architectural style as a trend is another factor that changes building layout. This change is a process from the initial state - the spatial and building layout concept of sanga mandala - towards contemporary architecture. These changes are characterized by architectural elements that are subject to change, and the elements that are persistent to change. This research aims to examine the meaning of dualism in the residents of ethnic Balinese residences as a transformation process. The method used in this research is qualitative content analysis, with demographic, economic, and architectural trends approaches and perspectives. The interpretation resulted from the occupants' perceptions of transforming the Balinese ethnic residence in Denpasar. This study's findings are the process of changing the spatial planning and architectural structure of Balinese ethnic houses based on the fundamental concept of dualism in a sanga mandala spatial layout through demographic, economic, and developmental approaches to Balinese architectural trends.

Abstract

Like other developing countries where traffic is a significant sound nuisance, traffic in Indonesian urban areas is boisterous. How this condition is regulated by the Indonesian government so that the community can live healthily and comfortably is a very crucial issue. Unfortunately, Indonesia has not had any sound environmental improvement since the regulation was enacted. Additionally, regulators and government officers who run the rule carelessly worsen the condition. This study aims to study how sound is regulated in Indonesia’s central and local governments, what types of sound or noise and levels are covered, and whether recent local regulations have been enacted to regulate sound in Indonesian cities. The study mainly uses quantitative, i.e., snowball or chain referral sampling techniques, to collect sound regulations applied in ten large and busy cities in Indonesia. Then, the qualitative stage was conducted based on the content of the rules. The data shows that the Indonesian government at both the central and regional levels does not have legal standing to regulate noise caused by the absence of noise regulation at the statutory level that can force those who violate the law to be punished. The only regulation is by the Minister of Environment, dated 1996, which is referenced nationally and adopted by most cities without or with minor modifications. This study found that (1) six of the ten cities regulate only one type of noise among various types of noise, (2) twelve of the 35 local regulations incorporate noise regulations into air pollution regulations instead of stand-alone regulations, (3) because provinces and cities adopt central regulations, the lowest noise level follows the central standard at 55 dB for settlement area without specific frequency ranges, (4) there is no straightforward procedure on how measurements to be carried out except in regulations stipulated by Yogyakarta province. There is also a fact that a standardized procedure for measuring noise is vital to be included in the regulation because unskilled government officials collected invalid data in dealing with a noise complaint leading to an unresolved situation.

Abstract

Pentingnya dukungan teknis dari pihak luar, termasuk akademisi, ditekankan untuk memfasilitasi akses ke dana hibah yang diperlukan untuk renovasi. Ini bukan hanya tentang pemulihan fisik pura tetapi juga pelestarian warisan budaya dan spiritual yang penting bagi komunitas Desa Sibetan. Proses renovasi pura menunjukkan kolaborasi antara tradisi dan kebutuhan modern, mencerminkan usaha bersama antara masyarakat lokal, pemerintah, dan institusi pendidikan dalam memastikan bahwa warisan budaya dan spiritual desa dipertahankan dan diperkuat. Renovasi Pura Pasek Pajenengan Dadia Gel Gel Pekandelan menjadi prioritas, mengingat signifikansinya dalam kehidupan masyarakat Desa Sibetan. Dengan kerusakan yang terjadi, terutama setelah erupsi Gunung Agung dan selama pandemi, kebutuhan akan pemugaran menjadi mendesak. Fasilitas pura yang rusak tidak hanya mempengaruhi praktik keagamaan tetapi juga integritas sosial dan budaya masyarakat. Kondisi ini membutuhkan respons yang cepat dan efektif, dengan pendekatan yang mempertimbangkan aspek spiritual, sosial, dan budaya dalam proses desain dan renovasi. Diharapkan, dengan bantuan teknis dan keilmuan dari akademisi, Desa Sibetan dapat mengatasi kendala dalam membuat desain dan pengajuan anggaran yang efektif. Kolaborasi ini juga bertujuan untuk memperkuat hubungan antara komunitas desa dengan sumber daya eksternal, memastikan bahwa Pura Pasek Pajenengan Dadia Gel Gel Pekandelan dan pura-pura lain di Karangasem dapat dinikmati oleh generasi mendatang. Melalui proses ini, desa tidak hanya memperbaiki infrastruktur fisiknya tetapi juga memperkuat fondasi spiritual dan sosial yang menjadi inti dari kehidupan komunitas Desa Sibetan.

Abstract

Desa Sakti merupakan salah satu dari 16 desa yang ada di Kecamatan Nusa Penida Kabupaten Klungkung. Mata pencaharian utama penduduk adalah bertani dan beternak. Pertanian dengan tanaman pangan sekunder seperti jagung, ketela pohon dan kacang-kacangan. Sedangkan tanaman perkebunan terdiri dari kelapa, jambu mete, nangka, mangga dll. Ternak terdiri dari sapi, babi dan ayam lokal. Sektor pertanian pangan dan palawija yang selama ini dimanfaatkan oleh penduduk. Kegiatan wisata sudah mulai tampak di Pulau Nusa Penida, hal ini dapat dilihat semakin berkembangnya fasilitas pendukung pariwisata seperti pembangungan vila, hotel, restoran dan fasilitas lainnya. Melirik mengenai adanya kesinambungan pengembangan DTW Gamat Bay yang merupakan lokasi hutan lindung seluas 30 hektar. Pengembangan fasilitas seni dan budaya akan sejalan dan selaras dalam menjaga kelestarian alam dan nilai budayanya. Dalam pengembangan fasilitas yang memasukkan aspek alam dalam keselarasannya, dalam ilmu arsitektur prinsip ekologis menjadi kunci untuk mencapai jenis perancangan ini. Ekologis meliputi keseluruhan ekosistem baik nilai sosial, budaya dan historis yang terjadi sehingga perancangan Fasilitas Seni dan Budaya pada DTW Gamat Bay memiliki kedekatan kontekstual baik bagi alam serta mampu mencerminkan dan mendekatkan sosial masyarakat didalamnya. potensi karakteristik dan potensi Desa Sakti dalam pengembangan DTW Gamat Bay, perancangan fasilias seni dan budaya memiliki posisi spesial dalam menambah ragam fasilitas sekaligus mewakili nilai local genius yang ada.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Demi kebutuhannya, manusia berusaha mengkondisikan lingkungan agar memberikan kenyamanan termal bagi tubuhnya. Ruang luar merupakan salah satu lingkungan tempat manusia beraktivitas selalu dipengaruhi kondisi iklim, sehingga kenyamanan yang dirasakan manusia sangat tergantung kondisi termal lingkungan tersebut. Kenyamanan termal yang dibutuhkan setip personal manusia selain dipengaruhi oleh factor termal juga dipengaruhi oleh jenis kegiatan dan pakaian dari personal manusia. Obyek ruang luar dalam penelitian ini merupakan lingkungan binaan dengan wujud sebuah taman kota sebagai sarana rekreasi yang nyaman bagi masyarakat kota, baik dari kenyamana visual maupun dari kenyamana termal. Sehinga penting dilakukan penelitian mengenai tingkat kenyamanan termal dan sensasi yang dirasakan pengunjung taman kota untuk kemudian menjadi bahan pertimbangan bagi arsitek untuk mengembangkan desain taman kota yang optimal. Fokus penelitian ini adalah kondisi tingkat kenyamanan termal di Taman Kota Denpasar di Lumintang dan elemen ruang luar Taman Kota. Pada Tahun 2016 sudah dilaksanakan penelitian serupa di Lapangan I Gusti Made Agung (Lapangan Puputan) dan tahun ini dilanjutkan dengan Taman Kota Lumintang yang juga salah satu taman kota di Denpasar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah dengan mengetahui kondisi termal eksisting yang memberikan kenyamanan termal dan sensasi yang dirasakan pengunjung, maka hal tersebut dapat digunakan untuk mencari elemen ruang luar apa yang mempengaruhi tingkat kenyamanan termal di taman kota tersebut. Sehingga hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan landasan bagi arsitek dalam mengembangkan dan merancang taman kota yang dapat berfungsi secara optimal. Maka untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode komparasi dan simulasi, dengan mengkombinasikan hasil simulasi Comfort Calculator dan sensasi kenyamana termal yang dirasakan pengunjung di masing-masing titik zoning fungsi di taman kota. Hasil tersebut akan menunjukan pemetaan sebaran tingkat kenyamanan termal di masing-masing zoning. Sehingga dengan pemetaan sebaran tingkat kenyamanan termal tersebut dapat dilihat elemen Hard Scape dan Soft Scape yang mempengaruhi di setiap zoning fungsi taman kota. Landscape is one of the environments where human activity is always influenced by climatic conditions, so that human comfort is highly dependent on the thermal conditions of the environment. The thermal comfort required by human personal not only influenced by thermal factors but also influenced by the type of activity and clothing of the human person. The object of landscape in this research is a built environment with the form of a city park as a convenient recreation for the city, both from the visual comfort and the thermal comfort. So, it is important to do research on the thermal comfort level and the people felt by the city park to then be considered for the architect to develop an optimal city park design. The focus of this research is the condition of thermal comfort level at Taman Kota Denpasar in Lumintang and element of landscape of City Park. In 2016, similar research was conducted at the Lapangan I Gusti Made Agung (Lapangan Puputan) and this year continued with the Lumintang City Park which is also one of the city parks in Denpasar. The purpose of this study is to find out the existing thermal conditions that provide thermal comfort and the visitors felt, so it can be used to find out what elements of space affect the level of thermal comfort in the city park. So the results of this study can be used as a foundation for architects in developing and designing a city park that can function optimally. So, to achieve this goal in this research using comparative and simulation methods, by combining the Comfort Calculator simulation results and the visitors felt of thermal comfort felt at each zoning point function in the city park. These results will show a mapping of the distribution of thermal comfort levels in each zoning. Abstract

Thermal comfort is an absolute for the human body, therefore human always attempting to customise the environment to achieve thermal convenience for the body. Water parks in this research are planned with the built environment applying the elements of the exterior space architecture supported the concept of traditional Balinese architecture. See the conditions, then there is an important opportunity and conducted research on the characteristics of the thermal comfort of the water garden. The focus of this research is the thermal comfort level and element of outdoor space in the garden Tirta Gangga, Karangasem. Taman Tirta Gangga was chosen as the locus of research because it has the characteristics of a typical application elements especially water parks that dominate and the application of the concept of traditional Balinese architecture. The purpose of this research was to identify the distribution of thermal conditions, knowing the level of influence of the outside space of the element against thermal conditions, and the extent of the impact of the pattern arrangement of water garden with traditional Balinese architecture concept against thermal comfort. So the results of this research can be used as a foundation for architects in developing and designing a water garden can function optimally. In this study using the method of comparison and simulation to see thermal comfort condition visualisation objects of research. From the results of the simulations can be used to identify the influence of the element of outdoor space and the concept of traditional Balinese architecture against the thermal comfort on the object of research. Kenyamanan termal menjadi hal yang mutlak bagi tubuh manusia, oleh karenanya manusia sesalu berusaha mengkondisikan lingkungan untuk mencapai kenyamana termal bagi tubuhnya. Salah satu tempat manusia beraktivitas adalah ruang luar. Taman air dalam penelitian ini merupakan lingkungan binaan terencana dengan mengaplikasikan elemen-elemen arsitetur ruang luar yang didukung konsep Arsitektur Tradisional Bali. Melihat kondisi tersebut, maka terdapat peluang dan penting dilakukan penelitian mengenai Karakteristik Kenyamanan Termal Taman Air. Fokus penelitian ini adalah tingkat kenyamanan termal dan elemen ruang luar di Taman Tirta Gangga, Karangasem. Taman Tirta Gangga dipilih sebagai lokus penelitian karena memiliki karakteristik yang khas terutama penerapan elemen taman air yang mendominasi serta penerapan konsep Arsitektur Tradisional Bali. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi sebaran kondisi termal, mengetahui tingkat pengaruh elemen ruang luar terhadap kondisi termal, dan sejauh mana pengaruh pola penataan taman air dengan konsep Arsitektur Tradisional Bali terhadap kenyamanan termal. Sehingga hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan landasan bagi arsitek dalam mengembangkan dan merancang Taman Air yang dapat berfungsi secara optimal. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode komparasi dan simulasi untuk melihat visualisasi kondisi kenyamanan termal dalam obyek penelitian. Dari hasil simulasi tersebut dapat digunakan mengidentifikasi pengaruh elemen ruang luar dan konsep Arsitektur Tradisional Bali terhadap kenyamanan termal pada obyek penelitian.

Abstract

Agro-tourism exists as a tourist attraction with the use of natural resources including farms and animal husbandry, empowerment of rural communities with work as farmers have a place to increase production from agricultural and livestock products that can boost their social economy. Madenan Village, Buleleng Regency is a potential area in the agropolitan sector. Of the many agro-tourism in Bali, Honey Bees Cultivation in Madenan Village is very likely, in addition to being quite unique, the impact on the socioeconomic and the environment will be felt, especially the government supports this in the form of superior Honey Bee Bees, but its management has not been precise so that it impacts to the decline in production. Efforts to facilitate farmers in the cultivation of Honey Bees, Agro Tourism is an answer to solve architectural problems regarding production and management. The concept of edu - tourism will be an attraction in this agro-tourism with the form of buildings that adapt to the climate that will be applied. Tropical Architecture with adjustment of humid climate conditions with mountain topography will be an architectural solution in the Madenan Village area.
