This study discusses the impact of social media use on students’ learning behavior at MA Nurul Qodim Wonorejo. The background of this research is the increasing intensity of students’ use of social media such as WhatsApp, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, which affects learning discipline, concentration, and social interaction at school. The purpose of this study was to identify patterns of social media use, analyze its positive and negative impacts on students’ learning behavior, and determine the factors influencing social media use among students. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving students, teachers, and school staff. The results showed that social media has both positive and negative impacts on students’ learning behavior. Positive impacts include easier access to learning materials, online discussions, and educational information. However, negative impacts were more dominant, including decreased learning concentration, delayed assignment submission, reduced discipline, and lower face-to-face social interaction. Factors influencing social media use include peer influence, lack of parental supervision, easy internet access, and students’ habits of using social media as entertainment. Therefore, collaboration between schools, teachers, and parents is needed to guide students in using social media wisely and responsibly.
