<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of Genially learning media on the poetry writing ability of grade XI students of SMK 2 Medan. This study used a quantitative approach with an experimental method and a One Group Pretext-Posttest Design with a sample of 25 students. The research instrument was a poetry writing performance test. The results showed that the average pretest score of 58.06 increased to 80.94 in the posttest. The normality test of the pretest data obtained Lhitung = 0.1136 and posttest Lhitung = 0.139 both of which are smaller than Ltabel 0.156, so the data is normally distributed. The homogeneity test shows Fhitung 1.58 Ftabel 1.98, so the data is homogeneous. Furthermore, the hypothesis test using the t-test shows that thitung 11.78 is greater than ttable 2.0259. at a significance level of 0.05 with df 24, so Ho is rejected and H0 is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the Genially learning media has a significant and effective effect in improving students' poetry writing abilities.]]>
