Abstract

This study aims to discuss and determine the Role of Information Technology in the Process of Teaching and Learning Activities in Vocational Secondary School, The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research with substantive theory based on concepts arising from empirical data data obtained from secondary data and the corresponding literature with studies and according to field conditions. The results of this study are the role of information technology in teaching and learning activities (KBM) including: making it easier to deliver lessons, students can easily understand the lessons delivered by the teacher, and effective learning for teachers to achieve maximum learning process according to the rules of education and so forth.

Abstract

The general objective of this study is to obtain an empirical description of the strategy for improving the quality of learning in grade 5 elementary schools in Medan. In particular, the objectives of this study are to, (1) find out the strategy for improving the learning quality of grade 5 elementary schools in Medan, (2) find out the results ofstrategies for improving the quality of learning for grade 5 elementary schools in Medan. Where the results of teaching strategies have not had a satisfactory impact on improving the quality of learning in schools. This is viewed from the aspect of teaching strategy, and also the results of the strategy have not given maximum effect onimproving the quality of learning at the elementary school of Santo Thomas 2 Medan.

Abstract

The strategy adopted by the principal is the most decisive factor in the success of quality improvement at SDN 066043, Medan Helvetia District, Medan. The purpose of this study is to describe the principal's strategy of planning, implementing, monitoring and constraining. The study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used are Observation, Interview and Documentation Study. The research subjects were the Committee, Principal, Teachers and Students. The results showed: 1) Principal's strategy in planning to improve the quality of learning is to invite all school members and cooperate with committees, teachers and the community in order to improve the quality of education in schools 2) Principal's strategy in implementing improving the quality of learning is that teachers who Caring for all fields of study is already a professional path. 3) The principal's strategy in controlling quality improvement is that supervision is carried out in every aspect that is considered related to improving the quality of learning in schools. 4) The principal's strategy in terms of quality improvement barriers are: principals find it difficult to allocate time in improving the quality of learning in schools, then cannot control all activities to improve the quality of learning in schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan analisis model pembelajaran berbasis e-learning berbantuan media YouTube pada siswa kelas XII SMK Swasta Marisi Medan T.A. 2021/2022. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian pembelajaran deskriptif kulitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII SMK sebanyak 62 orang. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa siswa sangat terbantu dengan materi berbantuan youtube yang dirancang oleh guru. Adapun kendala yang dialami oleh siswa adalah kurang mendukungnya sinyal dan gawai, sulitnya melakukan praktik pada saat pembelajaran online. Kemudian kelebihannya memudahkan siswa untuk belajar kapan saja dan dimana saja, tidak dibatasi oleh waktu dan ruang, namun kekurangannya guru tidak bisa melakukan pengawasan secara langsung pada saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung.Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran Berbasis E-Learning, Media Youtube, Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Media Brosur kemampuan menulis teks prosedur siswa kelas XI SMA Swasta Hosana Medan T.A 2021/2022. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Kuantitatif Eksperimen dengan desain penelitian One grup pretest dan posttest design . Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI dengan jumlah 50 siswa dan yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI-A sebanyak 25 siswa dan XI sebanyak 25 siswa yang ditentukan dengan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas menggunakan uji F, uji Homogenitas dan uji Hipotesis. Setelah dilakukan penelitian untuk eksperimen pretest dan posttest penggunaan metode Information Search, diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretest kelas kontrol yaitu 59,72 dengan simpangan baku 7,068 dan kelas ekperimen yaitu 83 dengan simpangan baku 6,45 Hasil uji prasyarat data pretest dan posttest menyatakan sampel terdistribusi normal dan homogen. Dari hasil pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini dilakukan uji “t” pada taraf signifikan ? =0,05, diperoleh thitung > ttabel (7,40 > 2,011), dengan demikian bahawa H0 ditolak, dan Ha diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan pada penggunaan Media Brosur di XI SMA Swasta Hosana Medan T.A 2021/2022.

Abstract

Pandemic Covid 19 telah memberikan dampak terhadap sektor perekonomian di seluruh dunia  termasuk di Indonesia. Kondisi ini secara langsung ataupun tidak  memberikan dampak terhadap ketersediaan lapangan pekerjaan yang jumlahnya tidak sebanding dengan jumlah pelamar sehingga persaingan akan semakin ketat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk memperlengkapi soft skill pemuda GBI Miracle Medan kelompok   pra alumni ataupun alumni  tingkat SMA maupun Pergurun Tinggi   yang sedang mencari pekerjaan agar mereka dapat bersaing dengan para pelamar lainnya. Kegitan ini berupa Webinar Carier dengan tema Membangun SDM berkarakter dan  berkualitas melalui pelatihan penulisan surat lamaran kerja dan trik menghadapi wawancara kerja. Peserta pelatihan adalah  pemuda jemaat GBI Miracle Service  Helvetia Medan yang dilaksanakan pada 28 Desember 2020. Mengingat situasi pandemic yang terjadi pad saat ini , maka kegiatan dilaksanakan secara online dalam bentuk webinar carier. Adapun hasil kegiatan ini adalah para pemuda gereja GBI memiliki SDM berkarakter dan dapat menulis surat lamaran kerja yang baik serta mampu menghadapi wawancara kerja.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the obstacles in the implementation ofonline learning at the SDN 065854 District of Medan Helvetia and their solutions.Online learning is a new way in the teaching and learning process that utilizeselectronic devices, especially the internet in the delivery of learning. Online learning,completely dependent on internet network access. This condition has a direct impact onthe world of education. Formal, informal and non-formal education institutions closeface-to-face learning and switch to online learning. The transition of learning, fromwhat was originally face-to-face to online learning created many obstacles for teachers,considering this happened suddenly without any prior preparation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how much motivation to learn affects the learning outcomes of fifth grade students in elementary schools 064021 Medan City. The method used is a quantitative correlational method with data collection techniques by means of library research and field research through interviews, observations and documentation. With the results of the calculation of the correlation number of variable X (learning motivation) to the variable Y (learning outcomes) of 0.965. This means that the effect of learning motivation on student learning outcomes in grade V SDN 064021 Medan Helvetia Medan city is very high.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to see the extent to which Teacher Creativity Using Thematic Learning Media Grade V SDN 065854 Medan Helvetia District Medan City. The subject of this research is the teacher and the method of this research is the analysis with the data collection techniques are observation, observation and documentation, Media in thematic learning is a means for teachers to deliver subject matter to students. Without the media of teaching and learning seem monotonous which causes students to feel bored so that the creativity of teachers is needed in the use of media. The purpose of this study is the author wants to explain about the creativity of teachers in the use of media in thematic learning in grade V SDN 065854 Medan Helvetia District, Medan City, data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the creativity of teachers in the use of instructional media in grade V SDN 065854 Medan Helvetia District, Medan City, included creativity in planning, developing, using, and evaluating learning media. Planning is an activity of the teacher choosing and studying the media. In the process of developing and using the media the teacher engages students in it. Media evaluation is done by evaluating the media itself, observing student behavior, and assigning or giving questions. Keywords: Teacher Creativity, Media, Thematic Learning, Elementary School.
