The learning outcomes of fifth-grade Civic Education (PKn) students at SDN 9 Semende Darat Ulu were still in the low to moderate category, indicating the need for a more effective learning approach. This study aimed to determine the effect of the deep learning approach on students’ Civic Education learning outcomes. The research employed a quantitative method with a pre-experimental design using the one-group pretest-posttest model. The sample of this study consisted of fifth-grade students at SDN 9 Semende Darat Ulu. The data were analyzed using hypothesis testing with the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The deep learning approach was proven effective in improving students’ Civic Education learning outcomes optimally and evenly, with an average posttest score of 72.5%. The Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, proving the effectiveness of this approach.
