Children's letter recognition learning can be viewed from two contexts, namely learning at school and learning at home. Therefore, this study aimed to examine the process of children's letter recognition learning at TK Kristen Citra Bangsa Mandiri Kupang. This study employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. The research participants consisted of one teacher and one pair of parents. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using the stages of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The trustworthiness of the data was ensured through technique triangulation. The findings revealed that the process of learning letter recognition at school was carried out every Monday to Friday, involving both the teacher and the child. The learning process employed question-and-answer and drill methods, supported by simple reading books, writing books, and letter cards as learning media. During the learning activities, the child demonstrated enthusiasm by willingly following instructions, answering questions, and paying attention to the learning materials used. Meanwhile, letter recognition learning at home was conducted daily with the involvement of the parents. The learning process utilized question-and-answer and storytelling methods, supported by letter cards and Children's Worksheets (Lembar Kerja Anak/LKA). The child showed positive responses during the learning activities by maintaining focus throughout the learning process. Based on these findings, teachers and parents are encouraged to strengthen their collaboration in supporting children's letter recognition learning both at school and at home.
