<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of applying the Make a Match type of cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes in the Element of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) in the Civic Education (Pendidikan Pancasila) subject for 3rd-grade students at SDN 05 Padang Pasir. The research design used was a quasi-experimental approach with a Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The study population comprised all 3rd-grade students, divided into class III A (experimental class) and class III B (control class), with 24 students in each class. Data collection was carried out through pretest and posttest instruments. Data analysis techniques included normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing using the Independent Samples t-test. The results showed that the average posttest score of the experimental class (83.13) was higher than that of the control class (76.04). Hypothesis testing yielded a t-value of 3.069 with a significance value of 0.004 (p < 0.05), indicating that H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. It can be concluded that the implementation of the Make a Match cooperative learning model has a significant positive effect on the cognitive learning outcomes of elementary school students. ]]>
