<![CDATA[Speech and language abilities are essential aspects of preschool children’s development because they support communication, social interaction, and learning. Children with speech and language delays require appropriate stimulation suited to their developmental stages. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of a picture-guessing game in improving the speech and language abilities of preschool children at Arafah Islamic Kindergarten. A quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design without a control group was employed. The participants were five children aged 3–5 years, selected through purposive sampling based on initial screening using the Developmental Pre-Screening Questionnaire (Kuesioner Pra Skrining Perkembangan/KPSP) and an observation sheet. The picture-guessing stimulation was administered for four days. Data were collected before and after the intervention using the KPSP and observation sheet. The results showed an increase in the mean observation score from 16.44 to 19.11 and the mean KPSP score from 2.6 to 3.4. Improvements were observed in vocabulary production, responses to simple questions, comprehension of instructions, and verbal expression. Therefore, picture-guessing games have the potential to improve preschool children’s speech and language abilities.]]>
