Population growth in Nganjuk Regency resulted in a waste generation rate of 101.9 tons per day in 2021. Meanwhile, the Kedungdowo landfill has reached the end of its operational life. Consequently, a waste management assessment is required to provide a comprehensive analysis of the effectiveness of the waste management system in Nganjuk Regency and to identify opportunities for improvement. The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Pandanaran University, in collaboration with Nganjuk Regency, is conducting a community service project involving a waste management survey in the regency. This necessitates a survey design capable of generating the data required to analyze the waste management situation in Nganjuk Regency.
