This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to improve the capacity of human resources (HR) of the Communication and Information Office (Diskominfo) of Purbalingga Regency in the fields of digital advertising and cybersecurity. The rapid development of information technology demands government officials have adequate digital competencies, particularly in managing digital-based public communication and maintaining regional information infrastructure security. The methods used in this activity include training, workshops, and direct practice assistance for 30 Diskominfo staff members. Training materials cover effective digital advertising strategies for government services, social media platform utilization, and an introduction to basic-to-intermediate cybersecurity concepts and practices. The results show an average of 72% improvement in participants' understanding based on pre-test and post-test, as well as increased practical skills in creating digital advertising content and identifying cyber threats. This activity is expected to promote more effective and secure digital transformation of the Purbalingga Regency Government.
