This study aims to determine the effect of the Sport Education Model (SEM) on the social character of grade VIII students in physical education learning at SMPIT AQIDAH, North Cikarang. This research uses a pre-experimental design with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest approach. The population in this study was grade VIII male students, and the sample consisted of 39 male students selected through purposive sampling. The data collection instrument used was a social character questionnaire consisting of 27 items measured using a Likert scale with four levels, covering five main indicators: cooperation, responsibility, empathy, communication, and discipline. The instrument was tested for validity using Pearson Product Moment with r-table of 0.334, and reliability was tested using Cronbach's Alpha obtaining a value of 0.946, indicating the instrument was highly reliable. Treatment was given through the application of the Sport Education Model over eight meetings in which students played various roles including players, coaches, referees, scorers, and event managers. Data analysis used the Paired Sample T-test and N-Gain test. The results showed a significant increase in students' social character, with a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05 and a mean difference of 36.03 points. The N-Gain value obtained was 0.61 in the moderate category. These findings indicate that the Sport Education Model is effective in improving students' social character in physical education learning.
